Fiona and Shrek had be going through a rough breakup. Donkey has been trying to comfort Shrek and nothing has worked "Shrek! C'mon man you gotta go outside." He had said to the oddly tall green man. Shrek groaned quietly at his words "Donkey you know I don't wanna be seen like this" gesturing to his squeaky clean body Shrek sighed. "Man you don't have to be seen like this it can be a small adventure just you and me?" Donkey said grinning ear to ear. ". . ." Shrek stayed silent for a moment and the blushed thinking about being alone with donkey the reason he and his (now ex) fiance broke-up. "Shrek is everything alright?" The talking donkey asked him concerned about his red face. "Everything is fine donkey!" Shrek snapped not meaning to sound so mad. He'd just realized what he had done a part of him said to run and never look back another said to stay and apologize. Thinking about his options for only a second he chose them ye former. Running faster than he thought was physically possible Shrek ran to under a bridge to hide away. Donkey wasn't sure what had just happened watching his best friend blot because he had yelled was concerning. He wanted to follow him, comfort him, kiss- wait did he say kiss? Well he meant hug. He would never crush on his best friend of 5 years,right? . . . . Right?
