I recently got a question from someone i know.

They asked,
"why is it hard to imagine what's happening?"

I may or may not have said this before, but detail is very important. Three years ago when I first started writing I didn't realize that people need imaginary in order to understand and think of how it would happen without pictures.

Brief detail can be helpful, yes, but when we don't know how these characters feel without using the words "sad", "angry", "happy", it causes confusion for a reader who's into interesting stories. Not only confusion, also boredom and frustration.

Repetition ; (noun)
the action of repeating something that has already been written.

Many, many beginners and wattpad writers usually have repetition when they speak or write. Using bigger words to express the exact feeling instead of first grade level emotion expressing words can be very useful.

I will post more definitions and synonyms as soon as possible.

Again, using imagery can be very useful no matter what the story, roleplay or argument may be. In songs, imagery is important to telling about the past.

Imagery ; (noun)
visually descriptive or figurative language, especially in a literary work.

Personification ; (noun)
the attribution of a personal nature or human characteristics to something nonhuman, or the representation of an abstract quality in human form.

Personification and imagery work together very well. Although personification does not apply to this subject as well, it is very important when writing about anything inhuman. I will post some words with definitions in the next chapter to help with description.

Anyways, please use imagery! No matter if it makes the sentence longer or not! Being drawn to a story is magical and it feels great to have someone drawn to your own. Creating your own world and it all being based off of how you would want it to be and having others interested in it is something writers don't ever realized they're obsessed with. Please use imagery and personification.
