Tomorrow is the day Toby goes back to the army. Unfortunately for Sydney she hadn't seen him during the past few days so she didn't have the time to say goodbye. She was going up to Birmingham for a week to see her grandparents so hopefully that will take her mind off of him. A week went by of her reading her book, painting and going on walks. Unfortunately there wasn't a single second that went past without her thinking of him.

She looked at her face reflected in the mirror. She stared deep into her own eyes where there were mascaras stains underneath her eyes where she had been crying. As she stared deep into to her emerald green eyes memories of her and Toby came flooding through. She's known him since she was little but until a year ago she always saw him as her big brother. A tear trailed down her face as she remembered when Toby had to carry her and jump over a river because she wouldn't have been able to jump that far . She remembers the faint smell of his cologne that makes her stomach flutter. She remembers when he saved her from a ball hitting her.

These memories make her heart warm and make her miss him even more. She wonders why she does this to herself. Is there any point. Is there a possibility for THEM....?
