I made my way towards the Mostro Lounge, to meet an old friend yet again. my footsteps echoed through the wholes, beating to the rhythmic pattern of my heart. I lost myself in my mind, an empty day dream, not realising I can face to face with the more calculating of leech twins.
Giving me an acknowledging smile his butler like act never left him. I hastily skipped to my table and ordered a drink; a favourite of mine as I waited for my friend to arrive.
Minutes passed and I felt my shyness creep up on me; I felt awkward avoiding making eye contact with others as if they were silently judging me. I wouldn't know though but I knew I wouldn't risk the humiliation.
Downing my drink made me realise how Hope had left my soul for this situation and perhaps it was time to leave, I could order another drink and stare at the furniture as I had been doing so to pass time but I could feel a sense of shyness creep up on me causing a sense of panic to arise. As if my legs took control over me and not me over them I walked towards the exit.
However, just as my hand grazed the handle of the gateway a voice rang in my ears from across the room. "Shrimpyyy!" Hustling could be Heard- then again "Shrimp-Chan, Don't go yet!" I snapped my head in the direction of the voice that could only belong to one eel, FLOYD.
I came to be met with his face, so close I could feel his warm on my skin causing me to shy away or atleast I tried, I found myself pinned on the door within his arms as he slowly closed the gap. He wasn't reluctant but still adjusted to my pace, I felt myself burning up and in too much shock to say a word after we broke apart.
His eyes glistened with mischief as he gave me a smile before saying "I'm going back to work, bye SHRIMPY!". I turned and made my way back to the dorm with the events replaying like a broken stereo leaving me breathless. As If I drowned deeper and deeper into my feelings, it was a calm feeling. I knew I was drowning but I didn't want it to stop.
