The factory's similarities caught 2B off guard, as she stepped onto the metallic flooring, heels clacking. It was the only sound she heard aside from the growing silence. No machines. No other footsteps. Not even 9S. It was suspicious to her. She thought it was like a mousetrap. The building was copied from the Human world by the Machines, but none were present. Not even a heat signature appeared.
She kept moving like a bug close to being squished. She made her haste before noticing a raven heel sticking out of the door far from the entry.
"What is that?" Questioned the Raven colored unit, pulling her virtuous contract out.
"Proposal: Unit 2B should refrain from entering." 042's voice suggested. But she kept pushing forward, soon meeting the source of the heel.
"I'm...? That's...?" The heels drawing her in were her own. The entire room was scattered with her corpses. But before she could question anything else, the skin hiding her interiors was split open by a blade from behind, and she was kicked forward, hands on the ground.
".... I don't intend to make the same mistake again." That voice had the exact pitch as hers. When 2B turned to face her enemy, it was her, but with the colors inverted.
"... Another YoRHa unit?"
"... You're wrong." The unit in white exclaimed. "A machine." As she said that, her colors began to change gradients, taking her colors. She was indistinguishable from 2B. But she was paralyzed. Unable to move.
"... I can't... Let you leave... I have..." She tried to reach her hand out to grab onto her, but it was ceased by the now indistinguishable unit's heels upon her head.
"...Something to fight for? How uncanny for it not to be humanity." But humanity was extinct. She was well educated on her scanner partner and knew his curiosity. It was pitiful how she had to kill him. Everything about YoRHa's existence was pitiful. It made her sick. She was done looking at herself and decided to leave.
".... Nine...ez..." She cried out. He was going to be taken away from her, and she had nothing to do. "....." So tears dripped down her face to the floor, knowingly. If she died, another one would take her place, without the memories of the machine in White. Her only goal was to replace her, and infiltrate the Bunker. She was... successful. Or so 2B thought. There was more to it than that.
Her final objective afterwards was to begin rendezvousing with 9S; He was searching for 2B.
