"A Photo Of Me" - Chapter #7

Next morning, I woke up, made a quick breakfast, and got ready for the day. I wore my black hoodie again cause I am like that, I get obsessed with things I love (not people), who doesn't huh? Grabbed my stuff and went to my first classroom. I waited for my friends over there by the entrance.

I finally saw them!! We were so happy to have our first classes!!

I got to know my teachers, obviously, we (my friends and I) were the center of attention for being the foreigner students, but they received us very well. We got to introduce ourselves and make some friends that day.

Our schedules had from 6 to 8 hours a day. Cool. At least I didn't have to wake up at 6 to be ready at 7 a.m. *laughs*

When the last class finished, I stood up, hang up my backpack and decided to leave the room when a girl shouted out: "Ling, Ling!"

I immediately turned around with my eye wideopened!

Me: "Ling Ling wannabe here!!" and proceeded to do the LL sign. –I smiled.

Girl: "I am a twosetter; I love them so much!, I just saw ur hoodie, and wanted to get to know you". –She smiled.

Me: "Ohhhh, ofc! It is great to have a twosetter sister in this new country. As u already heard I am Katherine, but u can call me Kathi, nice to meet you!"

Girl: "Nice to meet you too; I am Gaby".

Me: "Well, Gaby, that's a pretty name. Wanna give me any of ur social media, so we can talk? I need to go and have lunch at the restaurant".

Gaby: "Yes, for sure. It is @.................".

Me: "I'll write u when I get home, sorry. Have a great day". –Waved at her.

Gaby: "Same to you, and thank you! I am happy now"

Me: "Np" –Smiled

I headed to the restaurant, stood on the line, and had lunch that day, alone cause my friends were busy with their stuff. Good time to analize a bit the people at college.

As usual, there are the ones who are very fit and sporty, and the "Queens of drama", the musicians, the doodlers, etc, etc.

"Cool" – I thought.

Variety in uni is great.

I actually didn't see nothing weird that could get my attention like bullying or stuff.

Finished my lunch, went home, cleaned up my room a bit more, did some homeworks, and got to chat with Gaby. She told me she's been a twosetter for 2 years now, and that she loved Eddy. She was not a musician but enjoyed the cannel very much.

It was a bit late to I said goodbye to her and went to bed.

It was the same for around a month, everything was coming together and we felt much more at home than ever. We loved being there.

-At TSA (Two Set Apparel's office).

-Carla (the assistant) looking through the e-mails.

-Brett: "Hey everyone, how u doing?"

-Chris: "Hey bro! Doing good, u?"

-Carla: "Hello, Brett. How r u?" –Not paying much attention.

-Brett: "I am good guys, thank you. For what I can see u've got much work to do, don't u, Carla?"

-Carla: "Oh, sorry Brett, yes! I've got a lot of messages to respond to". –She smiled.

My photo and e-mail on the screen.

-Brett: "Hmm, let me see. Pretty girl over there. She rocks the hoodie, what's she saying?"

-Carla: "Basically that she liked the hoodie very much, also that she suffers from allergies and that she is very happy that the fabric doesn't give her the allergies, oh! And she's asking politely if we can do bigger sizes on the merch".

-Brett: "Well, we have to make sure of that! She's very right. She's cute. Where's she from?" –While grabbing a cup of tea.

-Carla: "She's from Colombia in South America".

-Brett: "That must be very far I suppose cause I can't locate it in my head". –laughs

-Chris: "It actually is. Latinas are beautiful".

-Brett: "I can see" – smiled.

"Well guys, thank you for doing the job. Will get back to practicing, okay? See you".

-Carla and Chris: "Bye Brett, have a nice day".

-Brett: "U too". –Smiled.

-Back at my place-

Gaby: "Wanna hang out today after classes?"

Me: "Yes, is it a chill plan?"

Gaby: "Yes, we can go and grab some food in a chill restaurant, what do u think?"

Me: "Yes, for sure! I am hungry already" –laughed

And so we did, classes were over and we went to a chill restaurant near the beach.

*Sitting*

Gaby: "So u like Brett more, don't u?"

Me: "Pffff, yess! I find him so attractive. He's perfect tbh". –Giggles

Gaby: "I feel the same way about Eddy, he's just so good to be real".

We both laughed

Me: "Yes, they're so beautiful AND talented. It is incredible".

Gaby: "Yessssssssss, omg! "

We finished our dinner and then we said goodbye to each other.

I needed to go to a new supermarker to buy another soap cause the one I bought the first time was giving me allergies, uggh. *sighs* "I've been just so busy to go and buy a proper soap" – I thought.

I went to ......., explored a bit cause it was a big supermarket. "Wow" – I said.

Went down the aisle looking for it and took the one with less scent to it. Grabbed other things but didn't take the shopping basket.

"Idiot!" Rolled my eyes.

It was around 9 p.m. and there were many adult people, more old people I would say.

"Seems like they like going shopping at night" – I thought.

Stood on the line waiting for my turn, and suddenly the soap fell off.

"Ughh" – I mouthed.

-Someone: "Excuse me, it seems this is yours..." –Extending the hand
