Shaddows lept at the girl as she ran through the dark forest. Voices, wispers, hectic, frantic, were heard within the trees. Her short, cropped hair never catching in the baranches. Her long, thin body now covered in scratches.
"Run," A voice wispered, "Get away."
She pushed harder. Running from the shaddows.
Everything went quiet.
She stopped, breathing hard.
Nothing moved.
"Run." The voice wispered again. "Run. Now!"
The forest lept to life. Shaddows closer, the voices louder. She ran.
Seh dodged trees. She saw an opening.
She ran.
A cliff.
She was on a clifff.
She took a deep breath and jumped.
Air rushed past her. She didn't scream.
She hit the water.
Cold. Freezing.
It wrapped around her.
And pulled her into the dark.
