In The Break Room
3rd Pov

"So how's the kid?" Asks Iris as Cattleya enters. Cattleya sighs, "poor kid, her injuries are healing pretty fast but I feel bad leaving her alone" she says, resting a hand on her cheek. "What happened?" Asks Benedict, continuing to slurp his Yakisoba up.

"Hm you better let her tell you herself, it's pretty personal" Cattleya answers. Benedict just hums in response going back to eating his food. "Anyways I gotta get back to work, see ya" Iris says nonchalantly as she walks out of the room. " I should go too" Erica says as well, shifting her glasses up before she follows Iris out the break room.

Flash back to two night ago

Water hit hard on the large windows of the post office, shooting down from the sky as if it were bullets straight from the heavens. Stepped in Mr. Hodgins office, the blonde doll with other doll in her arms. A brunette, all soaked battered and bruised. Blood running down her flawless sun-kissed skin.

"Violet!" The man, Claudia yells in surprise. "President Hodgins, I found a girl passed out in the rain—I couldn't just leave her there" says the blonde. In the doorway, staff members gathered by looking at the lifeless doll in their fellow dolls arms.

"Quickly bring her upstairs" he urgently tells her, within an instant they're already in the houses attic. In a small room with really only a bed and lied her down on that said bed. Cattleya kneels down by the unconscious doll like girl, silently cleaning up the girls wounds and wrapping bandages around her. "Everyone, please go back to work for the time being" announces the president, dismissing all the workers waiting by the doorway reluctantly everyone else, for the exception of Cattleya and himself, go back to their posts.

When the girl was brought in, Benedict  was the first to see her limp in Violets arms. "Violet!" His voice urgently yelled, but the doll continued running on. The limp girl had black hair in a tangled mess, blood flowed down her sun kissed skin. Benedict's blue eyes saddened as the girl passed him. He ran after the two, leading the other dolls to follow him.

Even when Benedict returned back to his duties, his attention was elsewhere; he even sorted the mail in their wrong slots. His thought were so distracted he couldn't even think about mail that day, he went home early. Even off work he couldn't stop wondering about that young woman. Even the next morning when he got back to the office he was till thinking about that girl, who is she?  Are her injuries ok? He would ask everyday.

"She's doing much better but it'll be a week till she's fully healed"

He worried about her, sure he never even met her, but seeing her in the bloody bruised state hurt his heart. He didn't know why, it just did. He tried to forget about her for the time being, and it worked. He continued his job like normal, even with that girl still in the back of his mind, he tried to stay focused.

Until that faithful day at the office came, her smiling face shining radiantly. It made him so happy and warm inside.
