Chapter 4

~Ashley's P.O.V.

Today me and Alli were a little late to school but we made it.

"Sorry I'm late" I said

"Yeah, yeah. Just seat down"

I sat down and called Effy.

"What?" She whispered

"What happened to him? He's usually happy and fun"

"His wife asked for a divorce"

"Oh, okay" I said "Where's Hayes?"

"I don't know"

It was lunch time and me, Effy and Andy were eating when Roberta walked up to us

"What are you doing, bitch?" She asked

"Oh, now you're blind and a bitch?"

"Don't you dare talk to me like that, I will m-"

"Make my life a living hell?" I finished for her "Now, if you're done, leave. Because I would like to enjoy my food without being scared to catch any disease from you"

"Bitch!" She said dumping her soda on me

I quickly stand up turning to her and punching her square in the nose. I was going to keep fighting, but Andy pulled me back

"Let me go!" I yelled jerking myself off him and jumping on top of her

I was slapping and punching her when I feel someone pulling me away from her but this time it wasn't Andy because this time the person was stronger

"Ashley, stop!" I recognize that voice. It was Hayes

He bear hugged me from the back and I couldn't seem to pull away from him. Even if I use all of my strength

He carried me out of the cafeteria 

"Why would you do that?" I yelled at him

"Because if you kept doing that, she would probably end up in the hospital and you would probably be suspended or expelled!"

"But I'm sick of her! She thinks that she can bully everyone and nobody is going to do anything about it!"

"Calm down, Ash" He said hugging me

I hugged back, inhaling his scent and feelling a lot calmer

"Ash, what the hell?" Effy yelled running towards me and Hayes

"Yeah! What was that?" Andy also yelled

"I'm sorry, I snapped" I said pulling away from Hayes

"No. Don't apologize. Thank god you did that. I'm sick of her!" Effy laughed

"She's such a bitch" Andy chuckle

"Where did you ome from?" Effy asked Hayes

"I woke up late, and when I entered school. I heard yelling from the cafeteria and I saw you on top of Roberta" He says " I almost thought you were going to choke her"

"Oh, shut up! I would never!"

"Of course you wouldn't" Effy said sarcastically

"Whatever"

Me and Andy were in 4th periodo when the principal called me. I got excused from class, packed and walked to the principal's office.

"Miss Schwatz, tell me what happened at lunch"

"Something that was bound to happen sooner or later"

"Miss Schwartz" The principal warned me

"Roberta dumped her soda on me and I punched her"

"Well, that's not what Miss Carter said"

"What did she say?"

"She said that you walked to the table where she was sitting and start to bully her and then you puched her"

"What?! She was the one who was bullying me! And she poured soda on me! Do you want to smell my hair for prof?" I said standing up

"Sit down, Miss Schwartz"

I sat down and sigh

"I have witnessess" I say

"I don't care, you still punched her"

"I did"

"Don't you feel slightly bad for doing that to her?"

"No. Why would I?"

"Because she's such a good girl" He said and I laughed "She never does anything bad to anything"

"Are you serious? She is anything but a good girl" I laughed again

"Well, I'll talk to other students to see if I should punish only you or both"

"Can I go now?"

"Yes"

I stood up and left. I walked to the classroom where Effy was and knocked

"Yes?" The teacher asked

"The principal wants Effy to go his office" I lied. I just wanted her company

She packed her stuff and left with me

"What does he want?" She asked me

"Nothing. I just wanted your company"

"Thanks for taking me out of there. What happened?"

"He called me to his office because of what happened at lunch"

I told her what Roberta told the principal and she just laughed

"Go get Andy and I'll go get Hayes. Because the teacher might tell me to stay there. Meet us at the field"

I went to get Hayes and used the same excuse

I told him the same thing I said to Effy and went to the field

We sat down and just talked and laughed at some jokes
