Adelaide Kane yessss
I walk in the warm coffee shop as the bell chimes from the opening of the door, welcoming the sweet aroma of coffee beans. I walk over to the empty table in the middle of the room and plop my journal and satchel on the table as i go to take a seat.
I wonder is it always this cold in london. I just moved here 5 days ago with my mom and little brother. My mom accepted her job here as a nurse as fast as she possibly could and let's just say, I wasn't so happy that we were moving. I wasn't exactly popular back in Washington but I had friends.
I grab my journal off the table and just as I was about to begin writing a tall shadow appears to my left. I look up from my journal and my brown eyes are met with a pair of green orbs.
"Could I have the name for your order?" He asks with his raspy British accent. The tall man stands above me in a white t shirt with a black apron wrapped around his waist and black denim jeans covering his lanky legs. His long brown locks sit perfectly on his shoulders with the front of his hair slightly pushed back as if he rubs his hand through it a lot. His feet are covered in dirty black and white converses. His face displayed no emotion but he was nonetheless gorgeous.
"Uh ma- madilyn" I stutter. What an idiot, I mentally face palm myself.
"Ok madilyn what what you be having today" He spoke smirking, making it obvious he noticed me practically checking him out and stuttering.
Jerk.
"I'll have a caramel latte with whipped cream" I spoke more confidently.
He didn't speak, only writing down my order and then nodding while turning on his heels to walk away.
A few moments go by and the curly head stranger returns holding my drink in his hand. I take a quick glance at my phone and notice the time is now 1:30
Shit. I needed to leave now so I can go and enroll for college.
"Hi um I'm sorry but do you think you could put this in a to-go cup for me please" I say to him as soon as he reaches my table.
"Sure" He says looking annoyed that I had him walk over here just to walk back.
Oh well. I hand him the money for the drink before he turns around walking away again.
When he comes back I take my cup from him responding saying 'thank you' as I grab my journal and bag from the table. He stares at me for a bit waiting for me to get my things so he can wipe the table off.
I turn quickly on my heels ready to walk out but I turn a little too quickly and trip, spilling my hot caramel coffee on the green eyed boys shirt.
"Shit shit shit I'm so sorry" I say quickly as I grabbed the napkins he handed me along with my cup, wiping his shirt off for him out of shock.
"I'm so clumsy sometimes I didn't mean to do this I swear I just wasn't paying attention-" I begin to ramble we i wipe the boys shirt vigorously but I'm cut off by him suddenly grabbing my wrists, making my frantic movements come to a halt.
"It's fine" Is all the curly head boy says with a straight face.
His long calloused hands are still wrapped around my tiny wrists. I couldn't help but to look up at him and take him his facial features a little more. His jaw Is chiseled—so sharp it could cut you with a knife. I get the chance to really look into his sea foam green eyes as he looks back at me seeming as if he's staring into my soul. I then begin to take notice in his pink heart shaped lips.
Those lips oh my how I would like to-
"Do you want another drink or not" The boy says snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Huh what? Oh y- yes"
He doesn't say anything about me staring him down this time he just walks away but then quickly returns handing me my drink.
I don't say anything this time either I just take the drink and turn around walking out of the coffee shop.
