He was just wearing a plain black shirt in a cold breezy night as his pale white skin glowing through the dark. His eyes were bright yellow like stars under the dimmed street lights. I watched him as he walked forward like everything went in a slow motion.

He can't be real. I can't believed such thing like him do really exist.

I pulled myself back to reality and I didn't think twice as I immediately hopped inside his car. I watched him glaring at the men who looks like ready to pick a fight. But in just a matter of seconds when their face changed from cocky to cowards as they all stepped back. Shocked. I wondered what did he said that made them feared him like they saw a monster.

It was amazing that I feel the opposite as soon as I saw his face. The choking fear earlier suddenly vanished. I feel more secured and protected now.

Jungkook quickly entered the car and slammed the door close, causing a loud sound that made me flinched. His tires shrieked as he accelerates too quickly, swerving towards the stunned men on the street. He pulled back immediately as they started to run with terror written all over their faces.

"put your seat belt on" he ordered, and I quickly obeyed.

He took a sharp left and drive faster, blowing through several stop signs without a pause. I'm still staring at him and he was still tightening his jaw, "Are you okay?" I asked and got surprised how hoarse my voice was.

"No, I should ripped those guys' heads off.." He muttered angrily. "You don't know the vile, repulsive things they were thinking.." his voice was louder now.

I gulped. "and you do?"

He suddenly turned to looked at me and then stared back to the road, "It's not hard to guess." He murmured.

I blinked in disbelief. After a moment of silence, he effortlessly parked on the small space on the corner. I looked out the window and saw the lights of restaurant where I should meet Mina and Jihyo.

"How did you know where–" I paused and just heaved a sigh when I heard the door closed. He already went outside and I just hopped out the car and followed him.

As soon as we reached the front door, Mina and Jihyo went out at the exact moment.

"Lis!? where have you been?" Mina's voice sounds worried, but Jihyo's eyes immediately fixed to Jungkook's face. Surprised with her mouth slightly open.

"I-I got lost." I admitted. "And then I saw Jungkook." I gestured towards him.

He suddenly let out a knee—-weakening smile, "Sorry if I kept Lisa from dinner." his voices was really alluring. I bet Jihyo and Mina noticed it too as they both blushed.

"Uhm..." Jihyo elbowed Mina without breaking her stare to Jungkook's too-perfect face.

"N-no, i-it's okay." Mina stuttered as she twisted her lips, trying to hide her smile.

I suddenly felt awkward watching them being so tensed in front of him like fan girls met their idol for the first time.

"Have you ate?" I asked to distract them and gladly, they're now looking at me. "actually, we were just leaving. we waited for you, but we got hungry so..." Jihyo explained.

"Lis, if you wanna..." Mina mumbled, but paused when Jungkook cleared his throat.

"I think I should make sure Lisa gets something to eat—-If you'd like." I was surprised in his unexpected offer. "I'll drive you home myself." He added.

"that's very thoughtful." Jihyo murmured. Mina bit her lip, trying to figured out from my expression whether I wanted or not.

"Yeah. . .I should eat something." I nodded to him and smiled to the girls.
