Fitting into the congested hostel room in the outskirts of Bombay was like ruining the whole beauty, silence and calmness Janani created till then. So she used to enter the hostel in the last hours of the scheduled time. Sharing the 10sq.ft room with two others was economical, but not so economical for the mess and loudness it produced. One week into Bombay, she really wanted to get out of that hostel. And with no doubt, that would be the first thing she intent to do as soon as she get a stable job.

After a quick shower she was ready to take a nap. Mira, her roomie was arranging the table. "Wow!!! Why didn't you show this to us Janani? Never thought you were this gorgeous."

The photos Dhruv gave, Janani didn't even bother having a closer look. Reaching the hostel from the marine drive she kept it somewhere in the room. Now, Mira's voice arose her from the approaching nap.

"Divya, just look it yaar", Mira transferred the photos to Divya.

Looking the pics Divya bounced, "You look like an angel Janani".

Janani felt a sort of uneasiness. What the heck are they going on about the photos? She grabbed the photos from Divya.

The time now was 3am. She hadn't slept yet. She couldn't take her eyes off the photographs. I didn't even remember smiling these days. Then how come... what's his name, oh yes Dhruv.. Then how come he could take these pictures of me blushing. 'I accidentally overviewed your sketching. I feel they have some real life.' If so your photographs are the same with added magic. A real photographic magician you are Mr. 'Nick is my sketchbook, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity'. You were right. 'I'm not sorry for what I did'. Yes, why should he be. I should have thanked him. Janani made the sleepless night worthy enough by viewing and reviewing those visual poems in her hand in which the sea and she were the main protagonists.
