There are tons of mirrors in my room. They are on my closet,on my table even my celling is made of mirrors. My family loves mirrors. They reflect my pale reflection and I cannot wait till my skin turns to silver.Today I will start my pilgrimage to renounce mortality for eternal life. I run my finger through my pale hair, my face etched like if from silver moonlight. And would stay such for eternity. I pull from my closet silver robes for the rituals which take place before the ceremony. I smile as I pull on the robe and see myself practicing immortals magic, magic of the moon.

When I step into the courtyard of our mansion, a group of characters are stading in a circle waiting for me. The quicksilver trial. I walk forward my robe like water running along my body. They break the circle, their scarred hands separating infront of me. I stand on a moon sigil in the centre, smiling. That is when the hooded figures rise their hands and magic flows from them falling on the sigil, which glows brightly. And I raise my arms, my magic still pale, I begin the quicksilver trial.
The quicksilver trial is simple. I have to use magic so it turns silver into quicksilver, our sacred material. At this point it is easy. The silver sigil turns liquid as my misty magic touches it. Each person has a distinctive form of magic. I calmly wait while the quicksilver spills all around me, bathing my feet in silver. That is when one of the hooded figures speaks, his raspy voice like steel against a grinder:"The Trial is done."
