A/N: I have now realized that it is practically impossible for me to write a general "yandere headcannon"without writing what led up to the tendencies first. I hope this doesn't bother too many people ;-; The Bakugou one is gonna be sorta long and I plan on posting the second part sometime tomorrow :D
Word Count: 1374
- His obsession over you began when the both of you were first years at U.A. Since he was mainly focussed on becoming the #1 Hero, he'd notice you a lot quicker if he saw you as a threat to his goal, similar to how he noticed Todoroki after seeing how powerful he was during their first Hero Class with All Might
- After showing off your impressive skills at the festival (even getting to the semi-finals), you had successfully caught his attention, and you became one of his "targets." He'd aggressively approach you and try to force you to train with him, constantly making fun of you for your strategies or if your attacks ever failed. It was all to boost his ego and confidence, and you knew that quite well at that point
- Despite him beating you in every training match and rubbing it in your face, you continued to be supportive of him, saying how cool his quirk was and it was amazing how he was able to use it so well in battle. Bakugou was an ass for sure, you knew that well, but it didn't stop you from enjoying his company. It was always the loud people like him that tended to be the most entertaining to be friends with
- Plus, with his quirk pretty much matching yours in terms of power, you enjoyed the challenge it gave you when you trained one on one with him
- You liked hanging out with him and Bakusquad. Over time, you had learned that the easiest way to get along with Bakugou without him getting too pissed at you was to compliment him on a regular basis, but to not overdo it to the point where he starts to think you're lying (you failed to notice that soon he began trying to get your attention with "impressive" stunts with his quirk just to get you to compliment him)
- Soon, Bakugou became accustomed to having you by his side everyday. It almost reminded him of when he was a kid, with his little followers literally following him everywhere he went. But with you, it was... different. Whenever you'd begin talking to one of the other male classmates about something, standing near them too long would give him the urge to pull you away and hold you by his side.
- Whenever you looked up at him and gave him a little smile, he'd get the urge to pull you closer to him. How come you were standing so far away from him? Would it f*cking kill you to come closer?!
- He doesn't really realize how possessive he's being when it comes to you, or he doesn't really acknowledge it. When he does eventually sum up the courage to pull you closer to him, he does it after school as the classroom was empty except for you and him. You were packing your backpack as he walked closer to you. "Hey Bakugou, can you maybe help me with todays math homewo-"
- He'd grab you by the arm, tug on it hard enough to where you sorta trip/fall into his chest, and holds you there by gripping onto your back. "Katsuki. Call me Katsuki," he told you in a low voice, glancing to the side as he attempted to brush off the blush that was beginning to form on his face
- It doesn't help when he spares you a glance and you're just staring at him with the cutest expression, eyes wide and face the shade of a tomato as you struggled to answer him. "Uh, y-you sure? I mean, you can also call me b-by my first name... Only if y-you want though! I mean-" He had never seen you so flustered before. And let me tell you, it only "confirmed" it for him.
- You liked him, and he liked you.
- He grabbed your chin and kissed you softly (to your surprise, you thought it'd be rough) and let you go, grabbing your hand and dragging you out of the classroom. "We'll go to your house," he muttered.
- He never verbally said it, but from then on you assumed the both of you were now a couple
- From your point of view, you never really had an actual crush on Bakugou. You liked him very much, but not in... that way. I mean, when he grabbed you and kissed you, any person would've blushed! Bakugou was a very attractive student after all. It was similar to how Mina would flaunt over Todoroki's looks but everyone knew she wasn't actually crushing on him. But you feared saying no to him, worried about what would happen. 'It wont be that bad with him being my boyfriend,' you thought. 'I mean, it's Katsuki! Maybe I'll start to like-like him as time goes on...'
- Katsuki never flaunted his relationship with you to his classmates, only really showing signs when he'd pull you towards him when you were "talking with someone for too long." It wasn't cause he was embarrassed or shy about it, he just didn't want someone to see you as one of his weaknesses. After all, he still wanted to become the #1 Pro Hero. Preferably with you as #2.
- I'd say the relationship lasted a few months before you had to break up with him. You still wanted to stay friends of course, but you had noticed how possessive he could get after awhile and how he always wanted to control what you could and couldn't do. It was getting overbearing, but you really didn't want to hurt his feelings. So what do you do?
- You ended up telling your strict parents about the "secret relationship" (you never really told your parents you had gotten a boyfriend at the school where you were supposed to be only focused on being a hero...) and they told you to leave him. They were your scapegoat, an excuse to leave without him blaming you entirely. Maybe if he saw it as your parents fault, he'd understand?
- Haha nope
- You left a note in his locker explaining everything since you didn't have the guts to face him. The moment he read it he came barging down to corridor, demanding from his classmates to tell him where you went. They say you had left home early because of family business, and for the rest of the day Katsuki's mood is the worst it's ever been. He even snaps at Kirishima, his best friend. Everyone is stressed, and they all assume you and him had some sort of argument
- You had left home early that day for a doctor's appointment, and you were granted permission by your teachers to stay home for today and arrive back in the dorms tomorrow. When you had gotten back from the doctors you had been studying in the kitchen as your mother was eating and asking you about school. You didn't really answer, staring at your phone screen as the minutes passed by.
- 'It's 3:00 now. The school day just ended. Katsuki wouldn't be pissed, right? He's never really gone off on me before...' you thought.
- All it took was ten minutes and then came a banging on your door, accompanied with the yelling of "OPEN THIS GODDAMN DOOR Y/N!"
- You stood up quickly, a bit frightened, and your mother stood up to answer, but your father (who had been in his at-home office) came quicker and opened the door to see a pissed-off looking Katsuki Bakugou. "Let me guess, you're my daughters ex-boyfriend. Didn't think she had such low standards."
- You mentally screamed at that one. You knew your father could get like this when he was angry, but you knew it could get dangerous when he got sarcastic against someone like Katsuki.
