Ariel POVMore classes later we finally go home
Seniors first leave so me and the group finished packing up and we head off to the student parking lot, we bunch of seniors walking around, shouting, laughing.
While us are walking and noticing people looking at us with somewhat intimidated or admiring us. My friends and I do have the looks and act cold towards anyone who dare to look in our way, oops-
Any who, we all goodbye to each other and call up tonight for a friendship "meeting" as we call it. And we went to each one of our cars but Cody doesn't have one so she's coming with me.
"Thanks for giving me a ride home Jay Jay!" They spoke and I smiled "don't mention it, you're my cousin after all"
We drove off and Cody was admiring the city until we went to our rich neighborhood. We see our favorite neighbors, kids playing, some walking their dog. We waved at all of them, they're very nice people.
Luckily Cody lives near by but we always hang out at my house so we arrived and parked then get off to walk inside, only to see my mom already coming out of the front door and hug us tightly.
"Aw I'm so glad you came home safely! How was school you two?" She questioned while taking us inside.
"It was alright, mother. Cheer practice was exhausting but of course as the cheer captain i gave my all today for the championship next week." I spoke while grabbing some snacks for me and Cody.
"Well that's wonderful to hear, I'm sure this year you will win first place as always!" My mother commented with a big smile and pour a glass of apple juice for Cody and they gladly drank it afterwards.
"Are my fathers coming today early?" I asked with hopeful spirit in me and my mother sighed while looking at me "I-I'm not sure sweetie, they should've texted by now if they're coming early."
I groaned and rolled my eyes "of course they'll come late, they always do, what's so important this time? Another stupid meeting?" I yelled and Cody looked at me sadly.
My mother glared at me "young lady! You have no idea what they do to provide us! You should be grateful that we have enough money, food, clothes and a roof for our heads!"
I cowered and bite my tongue so I won't argued back then stormed off while Cody followed behind me and comforted me when I plopped down on my bed and they locked my door.
"Hey, it's okay Jay, I know it sucks your fathers aren't here most of the time but at least your mother is here to be there for you, I'm sure your fathers miss you a lot and try to be there for you as well." Cody hugged me while I wiped my tears away.
We decided to hang out and play some video games for two hours until heard my aunt Catalina arrived. calling Cody to come downstairs and head home.
I hugged Cody as a goodbye and they left then continued to hear music for awhile and take a nap.
Then suddenly I felt someone shaking me and my eyes slowly open.
"Princess, wake up please." My eyes widen in shock and turn around to see my fathers, I smiled Widely and hug them both tight.
"I missed you two and I'm so glad you're both here!" I cried and my father Damien wiped my tears.
"We cancelled our meeting because your mother told us about your tantrum." My father Jax spoke in a serious yet soft tone. I buried my face in my father Damien's neck In embarrassment.
"Princess, we are sorry that we've been working nonstop and don't spend time with you a lot but we promise to be here everyday early, okay?" They promised and I quickly nodded in excitement.
At least they're trying.
