                                 Hoseok's pov~

I think I fell asleep and now I'm dreaming. I knew I should've gone to sleep earlier last night! I know I shouldn't be sleeping on the first day of school but it was well needed. Curse mom for making me stay up with her and bake cakes. She always does this when she's in a playful mood and I just had to get sucked into it.

The smell of mint and a hint of coffee beans filled my nose and I scrunched up my nose because it was getting stronger.

I felt myself growing conscious again as I started hearing Mr.Kang's voice as he teaches the class. My eyes fluttered open and saw that someone was next to me. Not only were they next to me but they were examining me...? I waited until my vision cleared up and noticed that there was someone next to me looking at me. Suddenly he made eye contact with me and just stared. He had dark intimidating eyes and a firm gaze. I looked at him for a few seconds before putting my head up to check the time. It was 8:45 and class ended at 9. I yawned before sitting up and looking forward.

I saw the guy next to me giving me a puzzled look but I chose to ignore it and fluff my hair around before paying attention to the teacher. Since it was the first day of school he was most likely explaining how his class will go and so far on so I didn't miss anything that important. I realized that some people were staring at the guy next to me like they wanted to devour him. I gave them a confused look before shrugging it off and waiting for class to end.

Class finally ended and I got up and stretched before grabbing my bag and slowly walking out of class. I saw the guy that was next to me get up as well and start walking towards the door before he was stopped in his tracks. A bunch of omegas ran up to him and bombarded him with questions like "how was your summer?" And "would you like to hang out later?" I even heard compliments like "you look even more handsome now." And "you look like a true alpha." Oh so that's why I smelled that scent. Jesus can he calm his pheromones down? I almost died from how strong they are.

It looks like everyone is crazy over him, am I missing something? I looked at the girls going crazy for him and caught him looking at me. We made eye contact before I shrugged my shoulders and left the class. 'That was weird.' I thought to myself before shaking my head. "I should go get a coffee from the vending machine to stay up for the next class." I mumbled to myself before going to find one.

I walked down the halls with the lockers and turned into an empty hallway. I was lost for a moment before I saw the vending machine and made my way over to it. I inserted a dollar and looked at the options for coffee. "Okay well they have French vanilla but they also have hazelnut..." I spoke out loud to myself trying to make a decision. Listen! This is very important to me!

As I was still trying to pick one I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around. I saw three girls behind me. One with short orange hair that clipped her bangs to the side, one with black long hair into a high ponytail and big breast, and one in the middle with brown curly hair down to her mid back. I looked at them with a questioning look before looking back at the vending machine. 'Eh, I'll choose the French vanilla.' I said to myself before clicking the option.

I felt another tap on my shoulder and turned around to see those three girls again. I was really confused on why they kept tapping me. "Um yes? Can I help you?" I asked while giving them my full attention. The one in the middle scoffed before speaking up. "Listen slut. We heard how Taehyung sat next to you in math class. Don't think you're special because there's a lot of people he would rather fuck than you." She said while the girls behind her giggled.

Huh? What is she talking about? "I'm sorry but um who's Taehyung?" I asked while scratching my head. She gave me an unbelievable look. "You're joking right?" She asked while glaring at me. "Um nope I don't think so." I said as I heard my coffee fall and turned around to grab it. I got back up and turned back to them. "Listen. This was a nice talk but I gotta get to class so we'll continue later yeah?" I asked before patting her shoulder and leaving.

"Hey asshole! We weren't done talking to you!" She yelled while walking after me. "I really don't have time for this, I said later!" I yelled back before sprinting to my next class. Luckily I made it early and I got my coffee. Once again I took a seat in the back of class but this time I sat next to someone. Judging by their smell it was an omega. A male omega! Like me! You don't know how excited I am. I always wanted to meet another male omega. I wanted to talk to them about how it's like to be one but I don't want to make them uncomfortable so I just sat back and drank my coffee.

The late bell rang again meaning class is starting. I didn't get anything out though since it's only the first day so I just made sure I was up and listening. 5 minutes into class someone walked in and it turned out to be the same alpha that sat next to me in math. I wasn't really curious about him but the way all these girls go crazy over him makes me think he's some type of celebrity that I never heard of again.

I saw him ignoring the calls from people to sit next to them again and coming towards the back of the class. He sat in the row in front of me and continued to ignore the girls that were now sad that he didn't sit next to them. The looks on their faces made me chuckle and shake my head. This caused the alpha to turn around and look at me. I stopped laughing and looked back at him with an awkward look. He continued to look before he looked confused. His confused look made me confused so I just looked away from him and looked to the front of the class. The teacher soon started telling us about her class as well and I was bored out of my mind.

'Hoseok! Now's the time to try to talk to the omega next to you!' I thought to myself before turning to their direction. If their smell couldn't tell you that they're an omega them their looks sure can. He had blonde hair that delicately fell over his eyes and a small nose with plump lips. He was small and he looked fragile. I wanted to squish his cheeks! I mustered up all the courage I could before tapping him on the arm.

He turned to look at me and smiled shyly. I then started a conversation. "You're a male omega right?" I asked while looking down. "Yes? You are too right? I mean judging by your smell and looks it's not hard to tell." He responded back with a bright smile. Oh my god his eyes are gone! He's so squishy. "Yep! I'm so excited to meet another male omega! What's your name?" I asked while smiling brightly at him. "Park Jimin. And you?" He asked while looking at me expectantly. "My name is Jung Hoseok." I said while reaching my hand out for a handshake. He quietly laughed before shaking my hand.

We talked all of class until the bell rang.
