"As my first official act as your new Alpha, I here by exile Brinley Quinn Fanning, from Dark Moon pack. You will be stripped of your Luna duties, and forced to live on your own, away from my packs land. You have until seven PM to leave, if you are spotted here again, you will be killed without hesitation." Alpha Nick stated, staring at her with utmost disgust and hatred. Her heart was shattering into a million pieces as her mate stood upon the stage.

Brinley ran through the crowd, begging her legs to stay steady. Members from the pack began to push her, while others snorted with laughter. Not one person was upset, or tried to help her

The door with beautiful patterns laced around its frame slammed behind her, as she headed straight for her room.

All she wanted to do was break down and sob, but she had to stay strong, and keep herself alive. The sixteen year old packed her  backpack full of clothes, money, and her personal belongings, but kept it light enough to carry. Brinley grabbed a bit of food and water, enough to keep her going.

The only thought running through her mind was, 'How could he do this to me?' Her body stopped abruptly, as she looked down. She tore the picture of her family from the frame it was in, and shoved it into her pocket. She took one last deep breath, and headed out the front door.

The crowd was still gathered, watching as the girl ran for the forest, not sparing the home behind her one last glance.

She ran for what felt like hours, staying in human form, before she hunched over next to a tree. "We need to keep going Keli, we can't stop. We need to change." She spoke to her wolf, but Keli continued howling with pain inside of her mind.

The sound of pounding feet soon echoed around the forest clearing. "That bastard! He sent them after me already." She growled to herself, the wolf inside of her instantly taking over. She stripped quickly, shoving her clothes into the backpack. Keli pushed their legs to go faster and faster, until they were moving at a nearly-impossible speed. The bag swinging from its grip in her teeth.

They ran the entire day, and stopped only to collapse by a stream, lapping at the cool water flowing through it. Brinley couldn't help the feeling in her gut, that ever since they left Dark Moon territory, they were being watched.

Her suspicions come to life when three large wolves step out from the bushes behind her, Not one had a high power in their pack, and she thanked the moon goddess for that. She only stayed in that area long enough to grab her backpack, and they began to run again.

All through the night, the only thing that could be heard was the pounding of her feet hitting the ground fiercely. The sun was beginning to rise in the sky, and a light breeze took to the air. The edge of the trees came much faster then expected, and she shifted, quickly changing into jeans and a tee-shirt. She slipped on her sneakers, and headed into the town, the backpack hanging loosely off her shoulder. Her eyelids were becoming to heavy, and she couldn't bare to keep them open any longer.

Brinley walks for a few minutes, the town packed with people, and it made her slightly uncomfortable, yet felt so familiar.

She came up to a motel, and jogged into the door. A woman in her mid-forties sat at the desk, flipping through a magazine. She looked up.

"Could I please get a room? One night." Brinley asked quietly, her legs starting to shake from lack of sleep. The woman began typing into a computer, and pulled out a key from under the counter. "That will be forty-two dollars."

Brinley handed her the money, and she handed her the key.

She followed the hallway, looking for her room. Out of nowhere, somebody slammed into her, knocking her backwards onto her ass, and managing to scare her out of her mind. The man looked down, and helped her up. "Sorry," He stated quickly.

He stepped around her, heading down the hallway in a rush. 'Humans.' She scoffed, continuing her search.

After a few minutes, she found her room, and unlocked the door, proceeding to fall into the bed. A content sigh escaping from her lips. She wasted no time in falling asleep.

When her eyes finally fluttered open, there was no light. She glanced at the clock, her eyes widening at what the tiny red numbers read. Six forty-seven AM. "Shit! I slept all day and night."

Brinley jumped up, and gathered her stuff. After shutting the door lightly, she bolted down the hallway, out of the motel. She shut that door lightly too, not wanting to wake anybody still asleep in there. She turned on her heels, her face was suddenly pressed into a hard, shirtless chest.

And then there was a growl.

Omg that was really short. Did anybody like it?

P.S; Please excuse some mistakes, I literally sat back and rewrote 4 chapters at midnight, and I'm pretty tired.
