Your interaction with Michael still haunted you , and it's been weeks since it happened.
Today was Halloween night, you had originally planned to go with Michael and his friends. Though, of course things happened and that plan is no longer pursue-able.

Your only other friend didn't live in the same neighbourhood as you did, so that wasn't an option either. You could either go alone or just not go at all.
Mom wouldn't even let me go by myself.
You thought, looking out your window at the little kids who have begun to leave their homes dressed up in their cute costumes.
You sighed looking at yourself in your full body mirror.
You weren't sure what to think.
You had gone as Golden Freddy, akin to what Michael had requested you should dress up as. Your (h/l) hair wasn't tied up or anything, you had showered and shaved every inch of your body for whatever reason and dolled yourself up completely.
...Only to stay home.

" (Y/N)? " your mother knocked at your door politely.
You quickly pull your off-shoulder top upwards to conceal your visible shoulders. " Yeah, come in " you replied, also lowering your skirt a bit.
Your mother walked in with a worried expression. You looked over at her with a smile. " (y/n).." she began, bringing a hand up to her forehead.
" Uh..yeah? " your smile became uncertain as you quickly glanced at your mirror if you were being revealing. " That's too much make-up dear.. you're not going to Coachella " she said , handing you a napkin from her pocket. " Now hurry up. The Afton's might be waiting " she said before leaving you alone.
Holding the napkin in your hand, you decided it was better to abide by your mother's rule if you wanted to go.
You removed your lipstick and eyeshadow.
Nobody was even going to see it.. I was going to wear the mask!
You argued to yourself.

Fireworks began to shoot outside and firecrackers lit up the streets, the laughs of giddy teenage boys rang through the outdoors.
" Okay mom, i'm gonna go meet up with Michael! "
You yell, grabbing your phone and bag before running downstairs quickly.
" Stay safe and call me when you get there! Remember, 2 hour--" she yelled, but you were gone before she could finish.

You feel relieved as the night cold autumn hair passes through your hair, brushing it with it's breeze.
You look around and sure enough teenage boys were going wild with sparklers and firecrackers. You quickly walk the opposite way. Passing by giddy kids with their parents and other groups of teenagers. Feeling comfortable, you let your off shoulder top finally reveal your shoulders. As you were walking your pencil skirt was going higher back into its original place anyway.
You weren't going to Michael's. You were going by yourself.
You were quite old to be trick or treating but why not?
Feeling adventurous, you wanted to gather some candy and then run off to the park to hang around.
There would be a lot of people - kids and teenagers alike there anyway. So you won't have to worry about being abducted as a vulnerable girl.

You chose a house that was lively with Halloween decorations, and so you began your quest on gathering candy for your little night time picnic.
