Chapter 52

Leera POV

I got to math class early just so I could wait for the second Jungkook shows up.

I want to tell him what was really happening as soon as I can. I can't handle wondering what he's thinking of me any longer...

Time goes on though and the teacher shows up and starts the class before he even gets here.

After we've taken attendance to start the day, he still hasn't showed up.

As the lesson is being taught I can't stop keeping me eyes on the door, just waiting for him to walk in at any moment.

...but he doesn't.

It's now lunch time and he's still no where to be seen.

I keep glancing at the door though just in case he slept late...

"Leera? Are you okay?"

Hoseok starts rubbing my back comfortingly. I'm for sure they all know why I'm acting like this today.

"Does anyone know if Jungkook's coming today?"

I look across the boys and some of them seem clueless, but the others seem like they do know more than me...

"Taehyung, do you know?"

"Uhm.."

He just stuffs food in his mouth so that he can't speak to me.

Is Jungkook really that upset with me?

He can't show his face at school today?

"Oh okay then. I'll just assume that he's still angry at me.."

Jin then nudges Taehyung's side.

"Why won't you reply to her? She asked you the question."

Taehyung swallows his food forcefully to be able to reply now, letting the silence from the table fall...

"I don't know why he hasn't come today either. I have no clue what's going through his head right now actually.."

"Did any of you see him after school then at least?"

Taehyung then stuffs food in his mouth again, making Jin shove him again for doing that.

He shakes his head intensely at Jin as he keeps his mouth too full of food...

What is with him right now? He's being so weird...

"Spit it out or chew it, Tae!"

He just crosses his arms in response, making Jin punch his stomach playfully.

"Spit! It! Out!"
