His eyes. Those blue orbs that caught my attention the first time I met him. His flawless jawline and his golden hair. The man was absolutely perfect and yet I'm not sure how he ended up with me.

Erwin's laughter was intoxicating and like music to the ears. He continued to laugh as the daisies I put in his hair fell out.

"Silly I told you they wouldn't stay in my hair."

I looked into his eyes and shifted a little closer towards him.

"I know but... I just wanted to see you with flowers in your hair." I giggled as he turned his head to the side.

I brought my hand to his cheek and began to stroke it as he leaned further into my touch. The grass flowed in the wind and the tree behind us began to rustle it's leaves.

"What did I do to deserve someone as sweet and brave as you? I had been alone for so long and I just..."

I hadn't realized that a tear rolled down my cheek until he brought his gentle hand up to my face and wiped it away. Erwin gently sat me across his lap as I wrapped my arms around his  neck. He looked at me lovingly and smiled.

"During times like this it's easy to lose hope (y/n) and we need someone to hold us or to just tell us that everything will be alright. Someone to whisk our fears away and talk to us."

We sat there for a moment only looking into each other's eyes before I realized that his soft lips were on mine.

Erwin always had a way with words and a vivid imagination. I was reminded of this the day I read his letter he had left for me in the event he died in combat.

I sat there at the table reading the letter as tears pooled in my eyes. Then all at once they began to stream down my face like a waterfall.
How I longed for his touch, his big arms to engulf me, the comfort of his words. They weren't anywhere to be found.

"I'll always be with you no matter what happens. Please be strong my love, and look after our son. I love you and miss you"
- Erwin

I began to sulk and look down at my round stomach as I put my hand on top of it. I weakly smiled  then whispered,

"I'll take care of him and show him the world that you never got to experience."

Woah, that was angsty as hell sorry about that I promise the next imagine won't be so sad.
