Alpha's Rouge Mate

Chapter 2 *8 Years Later

Abigail's POV
I'm currently sitting on one of the wooden chairs at one of the famous restaurants here in this small town. And just waiting for the food that I ordered for me and Hannah's dinner.
Not that I'm lazy to cook dinner, it's just that I don't feel like cooking tonight. And that's all because of Alessia. I felt her surfaced when I had woken up and I tried to control her. And it's giving me headaches and made me lost my concentration in everything I do.
I keep asking her what's wrong though but she also doesn't know what's wrong with her. Only one thing that's bothering her and we both know that there's something big that's going to happen. And she told me to always keep my guard up.
My thoughts were interrupted as the receptionist called my name and gave me the food that I ordered. My mouth waters as I smelled the delicious aroma of the food. I then thanked her and walked out the restaurant.
I went into my car and placed the food at the back seat. After that, I started my car and drove to where Hannah's school is, to pick her up and deliver some medicines at the school's clinic.
As I drove down the street, I remember again what happened eight years ago. The pack, my friends and the ones I love died all in one night because of some pathetic rouge leader that wants me to be his Luna and mate.
A lot had happened these past eight years. I was only just an 18 years old girl but I do know how to survive. Once I found this small but breath taking town, well not that small actually, I decided to restart my life here with Hannah. Luckily the nearby pack hasn't claimed the town to add to their territory.
When I got here, I found out that there are a few rouges that actually lives here trying to start there own family. At first they were suspicious of me and Hannah but when they learned that I wasn't here to harm or make trouble, they just mind there own business and not bother the both of us. Some of them even actually made friends with me and I enjoyed having them as my new friends.
I also bought a nice two-story house and I made sure that it was near the forest and away from human eyes so I can freely shift if I wanted to. But I also need to be extra careful not to go near the pack border. And during those first months that I live here I had learned that there was no hospital here. And if ever the people who lives here had to go for an emergency or had to go and have a checkup, they have to go to the nearby hospital which is two hours from here.
So with the help of the money that Mom had put into the bag I had an idea to start building my own hospital. It's not that big though but at least this town has to get one. And the rouges also loved that idea, so they volunteered to help me finish up building the place.
Luckily, I had also finished my studies at an early age and I had helped my old pack at the pack hospital in the age of 14 so I had great experience in becoming a good doctor. Some of the rouges and humans who knew how to operate had also applied to become nurses and helpers.
Through a couple of years, the hospital had been doing great. A few also applied to become my co-doctors and they had been doing great. If ever there were werewolves that can't handle to heal themselves or had severely injured, I made sure they always handle by a werewolf doctor. I don't want any humans to get suspicious if ever they saw something not being normal.
I was at Hannah's school building, I parked my car at the school's parking area and got out. I took out the box full of medicines at the back. I then got inside the school and walked straight to the school's clinic. Luckily I have no problem were will I find Hannah's school for high school because this school have a kindergarten up to seniors.
With my werewolf strength, I easily hold the box at my other hand and I lift my other hand to open the white door. As I opened the door, I saw Harvey and Jane sitting at the couch having a conversation while having their coffee.
Jane is a 24-year old nurse and she had worked with the former doctor before he resigned and went to live at the city. So while the school had been looking for a new doctor, Jane had taken in charge for the mean time until they found a doctor for the school. And that doctor was Harvey.
Harvey is a 25-year old werewolf rouge that had showed up last year and had recommended him to apply as a doctor here at the school. He was the pack doctor in his former pack before he was accused to something he did not do.
Who knew these two are mates. When Harvey saw her for the first time, he knew she was his mate. And Harvey knew he has to go through a hard time to get to love him seeing she's a human.
Not long he had told her everything for her to know and had introduced her to our world and what's the importance of having a mate. Harvey was nervous, he thought she was going to reject him but no she had accepted everything, well not everything yet, she's still having doubts.
They both turned their heads and stand up to the couch when they saw me got inside the clinic. Harvey took the box out of my arm and put it on top of the medicine cabinet before coming back. We all sat at the couch.
"So I see you two had fully finished the mating process. Congratulations, for a couple of months you finally finished the mating process." I said while smiling.
"Thank you so much Doc Abi. At first it was not easy for me and my wolf to wait for Jane to complete the mating process but in the end waiting for her was all worth it." Harvey says while he looked at Jane with love in his eyes.
"I told you not to call me that. And yes it wasn't easy for you and your wolf for a werewolf to find his mate was not supposed to have a slow process on completing the mating process. They should have complete it within a week. But I'm glad that both you and your wolf had managed to wait for your mate. So how about you Jane? How are you feeling?" I asked as they let out a warm smile.
"I felt bad for making Harvey and his wolf wait for me for such a long time but seeing he kept his promise to wait for me to completely accept everthing I can't even imagine how I felt, how happy I am right now." She says while she looks at her mate.
"So now that you too had fully accepted each other and you, Jane for totally accepted our kind, I expect that both of you will be having pups soon. Am I correct?" I asked.
"Hopefully!" Harvey says cheerfully while Jane blushed making me chuckle.
With that, the school bell rings and it's my cue to leave the two love birds.
"Well, I better get going now. See you both tomorrow." I said and they both said their goodbyes before I left the room.
I then walked out the school clinic and looked for Hannah. With the help of my nose, I followed her scent. She's at the school's playground sitting with a young black haired boy while they're having a conversation.
I sniffed the young boy's scent and stiffened as I learned he's from the nearby pack and not just a pack member but has an Alpha blood by the power that radiates of him. I better get to Hannah quickly before the boy's guardian can come and pick him up. I surely do not want to argue with anyone.
I stopped when a smell catches my attention I looked around but was cut off by Hannah.
"Mommy!" Hannah shouts when she saw me.
I then heard a growl that was at the entrance of the gate. I turned around and saw a gorgeous man that I have ever seen in my entire existence.
He must be about 6'5 I think. He has a very muscular built and has jet black hair that it looks so smooth. He was wearing a black polo shirt that looks like it's about to rip because of his bulging muscles. And oh my, his chiselled jaw is so perfect and that sexy lips wow. I then looked up more to meet his dark blue eyes that made my wolf stir in me and shouts one word that made me dropped my jaw. A word that I possibly didn't expected.
"MATE!"
