Tsukishima exasperatedly pulled off his glasses to wipe them clear of both the rainwater and the misty fog that had settled along the dim street.

He squinted his eyes up at the dark sky, making out a faint blurred light above him as he cleaned his glasses.

Tsukishima hated winter. Not only did he already run cold (not like his heart thank you very much Yamaguchi), but the constant rain and terrible weather negatively affected his already poor vision.

Along with that, was the fact that it now got dark early. He was already partially blind, and he didn't need it to be dark fast and impact his limited sight even more.

So, it was safe to say, he hated winter.

Placing his glasses carefully over his eyes he adjusted his grip on his umbrella, which while helpful, didn't protect all his long body.

Which was apparent as he walked along the street, making little squeaky noises with his sopping wet shoes.

He felt like a child who'd been jumping in puddles. He felt vaguely like Hinata, because he was almost certain that he'd seen him do that very thing the other day, while his constant shadow (The King) followed along, screaming at him to stop. That he will get sick and then won't be able to play volleyball

If Tsukishima's memory was correct (which it almost always was) then that threat was a successful attempt at stopping the orange jellybean

Volleyball idiots

Tsukishima paused from his thoughtless walking. Oh great.

Now thanks to those two volleyball idiots he was lost. He knew logically it wasn't really their fault he got lost in thought, but no one was here to tell him he was being ridiculous. Therefore, he would happily blame the duo.

Sighing in annoyance he re-wiped his glasses clean of the constant rain and squinted around for any street signs.

He continued to walk forwards aimlessly, looking for some signal that he was in fact heading home and not in the opposite direction.

What he found instead was an extremely worrying sight.

A person was sat in the middle of the street, a large umbrella tilting forwards, covering a small part of their body.

Tsukishima watched them carefully, trying to determine if it was safe to sneak passed the individual sat crossed leg on the street, or if that was likely to end in his untimely death.

When no threatening movement was made from the figure Tsukishima advanced

He walked towards them hesitantly, covering in the distance in slow, long strides. All the while, Tsukishima was peeking out of the corner of his eye to see if the figure was going to jump him or something similar.

Because honestly what other reason could a (potentially unhinged) person have for sitting crossed leg, in the middle of a dark street, in pouring down rain with an umbrella covering only the front half of their body.

Tsukishima continued walking gradually past them and almost sighed in relief when he made it safely beyond them. He took a quick glance back when he was a secure distance ahead to ensure the person hadn't decided to give chase.

What he saw made him freeze mid-step. His eyes widened behind the frames and embarrassingly, he could feel his jaw drop slightly.

Because while the moron had not moved, it definitely looked as though-

Tsukishima stared uncomprehendingly from his spot. Sighing loudly, he turned his eyes upwards in disbelief, before he turned on his heel and began to make his way right back to the figure.
