tw, swearing, anxiety, loss of loved one

Dream woke up, still clutching his blade. The sun hadn't risen yet, and the sky was a dark Navy. He sat up with a groan and rubbed his eyes from underneath his mask. He tiredly looked at George's sleeping figure. His dark brown hair lazily flopped in front of his face, and his mouth slightly ajar. He used his hands as a pillow, and Dream felt terrible that he let him sleep like that. He got up and shook the smaller boy awake.

"huh? What's going on?" George asked tiredly, rubbing his eyes and sitting up. He looked at dream with one eye, the other still being rubbed by his hand.

"The sun is going to come up soon, and I need to get more supplies now that you're here. We're going to Worcester and find a new place before some crackheads kill us." Dream said with slight amusement in his tone. He smiled, even though no one could see it. George just looked at him with a stupid grin on his face. Dream felt his face heat up slightly, but he ignored it and decided to gather his supplies. Dream put on his sheath with the blade already inside. He slid on his backpack after stuffing the sleeping bag and blanket inside. Are you ready to go?" Dream asked as he turned to look at the tired man who sluggishly put on his backpack. He yawned, then responded.

"Yeah, let's go." he looked exhausted, and Dream regretted not having more pillows so that the shorter man would've had a better night's rest. The walk was very dull. Neither had anything to say, and Dream had to slow down for George regularly. When they could see the small town in the distance, George spoke up.

"I-I don't have anything to pay for stuff. I got robbed a few days ago I'm-I'm sorry.." he mumbled sadly. Dream just shook his head, slightly annoyed. He sighed, then responded.

"It's whatever. I have cash. Find whatever you want, and I'll buy it. And don't come up to me every thirty seconds, asking if it's ok to get because I'm telling you right now it is." George looked puzzled for a second but then shrugged, muttering an 'ok.' They reached the gates, guarded by tall, bored looking soldiers. Dream passed them his weapons and shuffled around them into crowded streets littered with shops. The air buzzed with conversations from every person there. Dream subconsciously grabbed George's arm and dragged him through the crowds, despite his stuttering protests. They reached a spot where they had breathing room. Dream looked over to a pink-faced George, and he could feel His own face heat up. He noticed his hair was less neat now and messy from squeezing through the crowded streets. His light brown eyes looked from the floor to his face, and he turned redder when he saw Dream staring at him.

"Alright, lead the way." Dream said in a friendly tone, gesturing to the various shops that lined the sidewalks. George looked around for a second, then grabbed Dream's arm again and headed towards a shop. The inside was small but cozy. The two were illuminated in the Warm lighting. The walls were lined with shelves filled with various items going from clothing to medical items. Most of it was unorganized but the shelves had designated items on them. George was immediately drawn to the pillows, as he didn't have one the night before. He opened his mouth and pointed at it then pulled away when he remembered what Dream had said. Dream had a funny feeling in his stomach but ignored it. Now's not the time.

George grabbed a small but fluffy pillow and hugged it as he walked. Dream felt like he was dragging around a child which made him grin. George steered towards the clothing section and picked out a blue hoodie and another hoodie that was red. George held the red one out in front of him with a confused look.

"what color is this Dream?" Dream gave him a confused look under his Disguise.

"what? Are you colorblind or something?" he joked, not expecting George's answer.
