"We sure as hell aren't losin you again, got that?"
That was said to me about a week ago. I've been in the spare room they had since then. I didn't talk to them about much, I only told them I was paralyzed so I needed a wheelchair. I ended up having to yell it at them because we were about to leave the hospital without one which somewhat pissed me off because first, it was, "Oh my god! You're alive! Gotta hug you!", then, "We are taking you home with us now," and I almost didn't have a damn way to get around.
I was looking around the room once again, as I did every morning after waking up wondering if it was all a dream. Looking around the room I see the same maple wood vanity, with a small picture frame with a picture of the 1-A class, an alarm clock, a brush, and a few small pens here and there to decorate it. Looking next to me I could see the oak wood floor, the maple wood nightstand, and the maple wood dresser that was made as a matching set to the vanity. The nightstand had a cup of water on it as well as a small note under it. With a small sigh, I leaned my body to the side to grab the note. Folding it open it read 'hay (y/n)! I and Katsuki went out on a mission but we should be back later tonight, there are some meals made in the fridge! See you later tonight! XOXO' I folded the note up and placed it back under the cup.
"Well, I guess I should get up" I mumble out to myself as my hands move the blanket from my numb legs. I moved my hands and grabbed the fabric on my legs, picking them up just enough so I could move closer to the wheelchair next to my bed. "I hate this part" I grumbled out before taking a deep breath and pushing myself off of the bed and just barely landing on the wheelchair. After a bit more adjustment here and there with my lower half, I'm comfortable on the chair.
Finally, I start to wheel out of the open door and head to the fridge to get one of those meals they had made for me. Opening the fridge I grabbed one of the three foil-covered plates not bothering to look at the small notes on the top saying what the food was. I went to the microwave and took off the foil balling it up with the sticky-note inside and throwing it into the trash. Looking back down at the plate I could see it was a plate of chicken katsu and fried rice with egg, corn, and carrots in it. I had to admit it did look pretty good so I plopped it into the microwave and nuked it for a few minutes and took it back out to eat.
~time skip brought to you by writer's block~
For most of the day, I had sat around, ate the food they made, and watched some tv. Looking over at the clock I could see it was almost 20:30 (8;30 for those who don't know army time) I let out a low grown as I had gotten bored and didn't know what to do now. Thinking back I remembered there was a small park we had passed on the way to the house from the hospital. I went back into my room and changed into a pair of shorts, a tank top, and put my hair into a high ponytail (again, if you have short hair, ignore this~) then left the room once again.
Going over to the closet next to the front door I grabbed a small bag that they had put in there and went back to the kitchen. I filled up a small black water bottle and put it in the bag, went to the snack drawer and grabbed (f/s), with a smile I shoved it into the bag and left the house. As I got out the door I felt the wind go through my hair and hit my skin. Looking around me I could see the sun starting to set making the sky a mix of oranges, pinks, and purples seeing it made me smile more.
After a few more seconds of watching the sky change colors, I headed away from the house towards the park. Rolling down the street with the bag in my lap a passed a few people here and there a few sticking out like a man that had walked past me looked very familiar, he had bright blue eyes with scars right under them and raven black hair but I couldn't place where I had seen him before so I continued to pass him giving a small smile and went on to the park.
Arriving at the park I could see a few kids still running around with their parents but as I got there and the parents saw me, they started to act uncomfortable as it usually happened. Soon after they got their kids and left. It made me realize just how some people think, that just because I'm like this I'm a freak, or I'm dangerous. More thoughts flooded my head but I stopped myself pretty fast after realizing what I was doing.
Looking around the park I see a small wooden table that's illuminated with the light of a lamp that's a few feet away and roll myself over there to put my bag down. As I take out my drink from the bag I hear a ruff voice behind me shocking my senses as I feel a hand on my shoulder next. I quickly turn around in the process making me fall out of the wheelchair and slamming onto the floor with a loud thud and I could feel the scrapes on my arms and see the bruises on my legs start to form.
"Ah, sorry about that. Didn't mean to scare you that bad" Looking up from my legs I see the boy I went by earlier with the raven hair and scars. I glared at him refusing to say a word and looked away. Seeing I was silent he leaned down and grabbed my chin making me look at him again "oh, come now, that's no way to treat an old friend" at this point I was just confused, and I could tell it was showing because he let out a small chuckle before letting me go.
"Who in the hell are you calling an old friend? I don't even know you" I pushed myself up and leaned against the table behind me, never taking my eyes off of him.
"Hmm? So you really don't remember me" his blank expression then changed and morphed into something sinister mixed with delight "this is going to be fun" his mouth turned to a wide grin, one that almost rivaled that of Mr. Ayzawa's in terms of how creepy it looked. After a moment he got back up, his expression now back to a blank one. "Well, I need to get going, see you around, Dark angel"
After that he walked away into the shadows, every step I saw him less and less. When I was almost certain he was gone I let out a breath I had been holding in and mumbled to myself "I really shouldn't have come out this late..." then reached for my bag to get a small button that the boys had given me.
Hello Hello~ I'm sorry that this chapter is so short compared to the others, I've been very busy with work and school, but I'm working on a schedule for which days I will be updating this. Also, I would love to hear what you all would like to see next. It would be very helpful and I hope everyone is having a good day/night!

A Month With the Duo... (kiribaku x reader)
Fanfiction(y/n) used to go to UA and was in the "sidekick" course as she called it thanks to the quirk she has. Sadly, that quirk put her in the hospital for seemingly the rest of their lives, but could one month with her old partners change that?
