Red Riding Hood "A New start" Book 1

Chapter 1

        The voice of granny in her sleep had awoken me from mine, once again in the middle of the night. I had went to check on her,she had been having nightmears of god knows what and she won't tell me what it is,but it appears to me that it is the same dream every night.

          "Granny,"I said constantly shaking her,"Granny, wake up,wake up its just a dream.

        "Ooh! Ahh!"She yelped as she jumped.Personally the jump scared me and that I jumped with her."Oh Red, I am so sorry i had woke you up."I wanted to add 'Again' after her sentence but I decided it would be rude.

        "That's fine Granny," I had to lie it wasn't fine,"Now, will you please tell me the dream,please I just got to know.You said you were sorry but it's not my sleep that is bothering me." I really did need to know, I had started to get suspicious. I swear if she tells me, 'its to keep you safe.' or, 'Its for your own good,' I will bust out in flames of agitation and fury.

        She sighed,"I...Red...you.." She stopped as she heard angry hunters coming near our door."Red,quick follow me outside..and make sure you put your red hood on ok?" I have always wondered why she ALWAYS tells me to put my red hood on even in the summer.

        When we got outside she decided to talk to the angry men.There had been a huge wolf-like creature going around and killing humans in its way. "Is there a problem sir." She said suprisingly polighter than I thought.

        "Yes, we have suspected the beast around these areas, and both of you are ok." One of them said.

        This is the part where she might get less polight,"Ok? Ok? Do you see this scar on my arm? Huh? Do you see it, do you see it? I watched one of those monsters, definitly not around here," She said nevously,",devour my family and I thought I could stop it." I could tell she really wanted to cry.

           "We understand, thank you for your time."They said as they walked away into the woods.

           "Red, lets go get some shut-eye."She said.

        I returned to my bed thinking that she still didn't answer me. I ignored it and finally went to sleep
