I have an hour left of my weights class, and normally this is my favorite class, but today I couldn't focus. All day today I'd wander off, stuck in the realization that it happened. Someone had figured out how to get through the protection spell, someone knew when we did the protection spell, and I couldn't figure out which part was scarier.

Normally I was a fantastic student, always listening, always had my work, but last night messed with me, a lot. After I saw that man, I had been rooted to my spot till Tala came back, the only reason I knew she was back is because she was rubbing her face on my hands and whining. It was then that I finished my part of the spell, many minutes later than I was supposed too.

The other thing on my mind was the girls, everyone knew something happened, that I didn't finish my spell in time. But, they didn't know what actually happened, and I wasn't sure how to say these men, I'm guessing ran through my property and I couldn't stop them. Now, we have these unknown creates more or less running around town, and they could hurt anyone.

I tried not to think about it to much around the girls, they'd get suspicious. Everyone knew something went wrong last night, we all felt it when something broke through the barrier at its weak point.

We decided it was best to meet at our favorite pizza place, trying to lighten the mood of the conversation we're about to have.

"So what happened last night?" Asked Aether, she's always straight to the point, she's a no bullshit kind of person.

I watch as everyone shakes their heads, not really sure what happened. Sighing I put my head down.

"Tala had been acting weird, pacing around the clearing where my altar is. Then all of the sudden a figure comes running through the clearing." I glance up to see everyone staring at me, "she went after it and when I looked up this guy was looking at me and then he took off. I didn't see where they went." I shrug slightly as I finish explaining what happened, when I look up they all have their mouths hanging open.

Damiana, surprisingly, is the first to say anything,"has this ever happened before?" No one had an answer, they shrugged and shook their head. I leaned back in our booth, laying my head back, I glanced out the window to see his face.

He looked a lot younger in the day light, a chiseled jaw, and messy hair. But I couldn't help but to notice the gray tint of his skin. But, he wasn't alone, a tall pale figure was standing with him.

His jaw was clenched, and his eyes looked like slits, staring daggers at the man in-front of him. They seemed to be arguing, and whatever it was, he did not agree.

It was quite obvious I'd been staring, I wasn't trying to keep it on the low. But, I hadn't expected to make eye contact with him. The pale color of his eyes hadn't changed, but the whites of his eyes, they looked crazed. I couldn't help but to gasp, trying to turn my attention back to my pizza as fast as possible.

"Was that Lazarus?" I whisper,I glance up at everyone else, hoping someone saw what I saw, but they were all talking about a school project. Glancing out the window once more, I notice a book where they stood.

"Uh I'll be back!" I shout, before leaping out of my seat and out the door, the book still there. I stuff it into my backpack before going back in the pizza parlor. Sitting back down, I begin nibbling on my pizza, ignoring the weird glances I was getting from the girls. I was deep in thought, wanting to look through the book, but deciding it was best to wait till I was somewhere private.
