CHAPTER 1: WHAT!?

Yukihira Seiko, daughter of the legendary chef Saiba Jochiro, was screaming at her father. He had just disclosed that he was closing the diner for some time to travel the world again. Though she often accompanied him, he had different plans for her this time.......

"You want me to attend a culinary school!? Seriously dad?"

He had to admit, she was gifted with the cooking abilities of a god, but he wanted his daughter to have a normal childhood and some competition in the culinary world.

"Sweety, please listen to me. You need to have some competition! This culinary school is the best and..... You can meet Erino there!"

At this her expression changed. She started jumping around in glee at the prospect of meeting her childhood friend.

"Wait. That can only mean.... I am going to TOTSUKI ACADEMY!? "

"Yup, you are. They have given you a special scholarship so you can go there! Ok now, hurry up and pack!"

"Wha... Why pack now!?"

"Because you start school tomorrow!"

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME SOONER!"

"Hehe, just like me...."

The next day, Seiko stood before the huge school.

' why must it be on a mountain.....'

When she entered, she was tackled into a hug by a 6 foot tall male with orange-yellow hair. She smiled at him and said

"Erino! Did you really have to tackle me? You do know that I am shorter than you!"

"No! I won't let you go like last time! You left me all alone! Do you know how long I waited for you? Don't you dare leave me again!"

"It's ok Erino! I am not going anywhere! I am here just like I promised! I even brought you your favourite!"

"Homemade cookies! Only you can make them taste soo good! Thanks !"

The male took the cookies from her and bit into the pink, heart-shaped, freshly baked cookie.

He immediately tasted all the ingredients she used to make it. He felt as if he was drowning in milk mixed with honey and...... Cinnamon?

"Is this cinnamon I taste?"

"Yes! I added it for extra flavour! Is it good?"

"Are you kidding me? It's awesome!"

"Ok then, I have an assembly to attend! Let's go!"

Erino watched as she sped to the backstage. He quickly followed her, but suddenly a thought entered his head just as she climbed the stage.

'will she leave me again?'

Shivering at the thought, Erino patiently waited for her to come back. He knew his feelings for her were true in the whole sense of the word, but it would not be easy, seeing that they attended this school. Also she was dense.

When she came back, she saw Erino deep in thought. She immediately cupped his cheek with her hand and he leaned into the touch. He asked her a question....

"Will you leave me again?"

She was so shocked that he asked her this question.

"What do you mean Erino ?"

"Will you leave me alone like last time?"

"No, this time I will stay!"

"Hmmmm, ok"

They both left to go catch up with each other before class started.

Meanwhile in the crowd:

"Isami, who was that goddess? She lacks any evidence of a chef, but her aura is like standing before an empress."

"I found you again, sei-chan .... I was hoping to see you in Norway but still... Finally..."

"Who was that beauty? She seems terrifying though so I should try and stay away..... Go away, nervousness!"

"So you finally returned, Seiko... Your scent never did change.... Jun will be happy to see you here...."

"Seiko-chan is going to attend class here? Yay! But she gets to spend more time with Erino! Hmmp!"

How will win in this battle? We have to wait and see......
