Shirou Ogami headed home for the night. It was so late- he had hoped to get home earlier to see Michiru before she went to bed but figured she was sleeping by now. He stepped onto the road leading to his home in Anima City, meandering under the dimly lit street lights, pondering the events that had given him his immortality with a heavy heart.

His human ears picked up on a tiny sound to his left and he changed into his wolf form. His ears pricked up and shifted, trying to determine what the sound was and if it was a threat. Unsure, he walked into the alley with his eyes focused ahead of him. The sound was coming from just up ahead. Catching the scent of a human, his lips bared over his fangs making his nose crinkle and his eyes sharpen. Their icy blue hue flashed before he pounced on the intruder and pinned them to the hard concrete. The human let out a squeak as their frail frame was pressed to the surface by Ogami's heavy paws.

"Please don't eat me!" they cried.

Ogami recognized the fear in their eyes. It wasn't dissimilar to Michiru's when she had seen him about to tear apart a criminal before her eyes. Scared, powerless, and confused, the human wasn't much different from her. It seemed they had been lost or at least pretending to be. Either way, Ogami wasn't going to just let them go.  He reached to his belt and cursed himself when he didn't feel handcuffs. He had left them at the police station.

Slowly, he got to his feet, keeping hold of the humans shirt so they couldn't run and pulled them upright.

"What are you doing in Anima City?" Ogami growled, his teeth still bared in intimidation.

"I-I-.." They stumbled over their words and choked on their fear. Ogami almost pitied this human, but he wasn't up for giving away his trust again. Michiru was a special case.

"Come with me, we'll sort you out at the station."
