Your absence haunts me

I wait for you. For hours but I finally give up. When I get home things get so much worse. I walk in my door to see your body laying on the floor. Motionless, still, dead. My life in this world shatters, what have you done... Oh what have you done. I run to you, your skin is cold, like freezing ice. I cry for you. I cry that I can no longer see your smile but only a cold dead body before me. Something catches my eye, a note, a note lay by your side. I slowly open it, it looks as if it were blood stained before. I read only a few simple words. "I will love you even in the afterlife." I stare at these simple words. Why would you leave me here? Why would you leave these words? Why, why, WHY! Why must you do this to my fragile heart?!? I loved you so...and apparently you loved me to.The word why, still wanders my mind. Like a never ending lullaby. I miss you.
