The wind was blowing, the air was mist and warm "Korra were almost here" Korra's dad says while getting Korra's belongings ready. "I cant wait, i finally get to see master Tenzin and master all four elements, finally" Korra says excitedly. Ten minutes go by and they arrived in Republic City.
POV:Korra
I can't believe were actually here, i thought. I go get my stuff and get ready to meet Tenzin and everyone else at the Air temple, we started getting closer to the island the closer we got the more exited I became. Finally, the boat arrived I gathered all my stuff and headed to where everyone was waiting. Tenzins kids shout "KORRA'S HERE" I laughed saying hey Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo, hey Korra how you been Tenzin says, Hi master Tenzin I've been great, I said excitedly. Well looks like everything is great dad says with a smile, I'm gonna miss you, dad, I said with a big grin we hugged and said our goodbyes. So ready for a tour, Tenzin says with a smile on his face. 2 weeks go by of airbending and working hard I was resting on my bed looking at the view of Republic city with all the lights and buildings. I wish I could visit Republic city one day, you know what im gonna go I'm tired of being in the air temple it's getting boring, I thought. I'm gonna ask Tenzin if I can go spend a day in republic city tomorrow. The night goes by I wake up and rush to Tenzin who was already awake obviously, I tap his shoulder and ask Tenzin can i go spend a day in Republic city just for one day please please please, I said tenzin looks at me and says Korra that's fine just be safe after all you are the avatar. I looked at him with shock and said really thank u so much i said excitedly, I went to my room to change and get ready I went to Oogi Tenzins bison and flew to Republic city. I thought wow this is so much more different then home.
Korra and Oogi land in republic city. The avatar was exited and went to go get something to eat while Oogi goes back to the Air Temple, the Avatar got something to eat and went to the park she was just admiring the park with a smile on her face.
POV:Korra
I got up after eating at the park while I was crossing the street I see a car coming towards my way I dropped my drink and air bent out of the way I said watch where you're going! , the car stoped I saw the most beautiful girl get out. She came running to me saying are you okay, I said yeah I'm fine and she said wait are you the avatar I said yes with a smirk on my face she said wow its great to meet you Avatar Korra I'm Asami Sato. I can't believe I almost hit the avatar with my car she said laughing I had a smile on my face she said well could I take you for a drink or anything to pay u back, I said well a drink would be fine, well okay miss avatar I know a place she said with a smirk on her face we drove in her car with silence but not awkward silence the music was playing, I broke the silence and asked so where are you taking me the engineer says this is my favorite place in this city just wait she said with a smile on her face I said ok with a sarcastic sigh. A few minutes go by and were finally here she says were here with a smile on her face i said finally we got out the car and went inside, I said wow this is really pretty but i dont have money on me. She goes well thats fine ill pay she said after all i almost ran over you we both laughed and headed inside she asked me what I wanted, I said a coffee would be fine she said okay and went to order. I went to go sit down and thought wow is this actually happening I have good feeling about Asami, I hope we could be friends that would be great I should ask her "Korra hello Korra" i snapped out of my daydream and said oh haha sorry, what were u thinking about she asked oh it was nothing, she shrugged and said oh ok well our drinks are here, here you go I said thank you. We talked for hours laughing and talking about life. It started to get dark and said oh shit I have to get home, she said wait wanna hangout tomorrow you can come to my house, yeah sure heres my number call me see you tomorrow I said with a smile, ok well see you tomorrow Korra she said bye Asami I said heading out I get back at the Air Temple and went to my room and went to my bed staying up every time I thought about her I got butterflies, why do I feel this Asami is a girl I thought. I pushed the feelings aside and went to sleep with a smile.
POV: Asami
The next day... I woke up excitedly I can't believe the Avatar is coming to my house today, I dont know why but I have such a good feeling about her I thought. I got ready and called Korra she answered saying she will be here in 10 minutes. 10 minutes go by I hear a knock on the door and it was Korra hi Asami she said. Hi Korra come in I said with a smile she said wow is this where you live, this is crazy I still can't believe your father made the SatoMobile. I looked her and said, I still cant believe the Avatar is in my house come on I said with a grin I grabbed her hand and brought her to the race track. She said woah this is huge, I could see the exitment in her face wanna go for a ride I asked she said hell yeah, we both laughed and I said come on. We went in and raced one of the workers I almost got beat, then I cut him off going into the finish line. She got out and said Woah didn't know u could ride like that, I said haha well I've been doing this for awhile she was so amazed, it was cute I thought.
POV: Korra
I was so amazed on how she could do all of this at 18 right when I was about to talk, I hear a voice go hey Asami I looked over it was this tall guy with back gelled hair and looked like he was from the fire nation cause of his brownish reddish eyes. I saw Asami go over him and hugged him, and say hey mako she grabs my hand and brings me over to him he goes wait arent you avatar Korra, I said yes with a fake smile he goes well hi its an honor to meet you im Asami boyfriend. Oh cool nice to meet you mako I shook his hand Asami asks what are you doing here babe, he goes oh I just wanted to come by and say hi to spend time with you. I should go then I say Asami grabs my wrist and goes no stay we can all hang out, I shrugged and said ok. I got butterflies in my stomach when she grabbed me like that, but why am I feeling this I just met Asami and she's a girl but that's, not even the problem she straight and has a boyfriend whatever ill just try to push these feelings away I thought. We all went in the pool it was pretty fun we were all sitting down, and drying off then I get a call from Tenzin saying Korra you need to come now were getting attacked. Ok I'm coming as quick as I can I say then hanged, up Asami asks what's wrong with a worried face. I go I have to do some avatar stuff, ill see you guys later I say ruing to the door Asami says bye Korra stay safe.
