"Next stop to Miami Florida"

Josie waited at the old tree house for her twin. She started remembering why they went to it and then all memories came back. They went there to escape or hide from their coven and it was a refreshing get away. Josie heard a branch crunch. she turned around and seen her sister.

"ugghhh, I don't know why I wanted us to runaway through the woods. Dear sister tell me, how do we runaway without getting dirty?" Lizzie said irritated at the dirt and bugs

Josie just laughed at her sister because through all of this she was still so bitchy and snarky. Lizzie hadn't heard Josie laugh in a while, it was music to her ears. When they had a bad day of beatings and getting called names, Josie would sing to her sister. She always acted so strong for them both. Lizzie terribly missed her sisters singing she loved how her voice was so angelic and calming.

"We should go before we get caught" Josie said with a worried look

Lizzie nodded and they made their way through the woods. They reached the street and lizzie stopped at a bus stop and Josie looked confused.

"how are we supposed to get on we don't have any money." Josie asked her sister 

"Oh, Jo tsk tsk tsk you innocent thing, I took money from mom and dads safe they hid for emergencies." Lizzie said with a wide smirk opening a duffle bag with rolls of hundreds in it.

The bus pulled up and when the door opened the lady said," Next stop Miami, Florida."

Lizzie paid for their tickets and told Josie that Florida is where they were going to be staying for a while before they had to move again. With that they left Mystic falls Virginia.

Josie fell asleep on lizzies shoulders 2 hours into the 11 and a half hour ride. Lizzie was stuck alone with her thoughts. She didn't know what was to come so she was playing it by ear. The only thing she was sure of was the promise she kept to Josie

Flashback....

Lizzies Pov:

I was walking down the hall hearing what I always here like "freak" or "weirdo" coming from other students when I hear Jo telepathy screaming for her me to help her. I found Josie on the floor getting kicked and punched in the head hit with rocks. I was scared I couldn't do anything magic or I would get shunned by the coven so so I found the next best thing. 

Josie's Pov Still flashback:

I was getting jumped by a group of vampires when I hear lizzies loud and powerful growl. It scared the vampires away but I was confused because lizzie hadn't activated her wolf unlike me. That's when I noticed I couldn't hear out my right ear I started to panic.

"Lizzie! Lizzie!" I screamed for my sister

"jo are you okay I'm here" lizzie said hugging me

"I-...I cant..." I was hyperventilating but I had to calm down to tell lizzie

"You cant what jo" she asked me worriedly

"I cant here out of this ear" I pointed to my right ear which was bleeding a lot

Lizzies Pov still flashback:

My sister told me she couldn't hear out of her right ear I was scared for her. I was also scared for me because i hadn't activated my wolfs side like Josie had done on accident. The growl supposed me like it surprised everyone else. I knew me and Josie were the last to wolves of our kind. The last of the black and gold wolves powerful than any other wolf and we were rare. I still didn't know any information.

"Lizzie" Jo screamed at me that's when I realized I spaced out. I felt guilty for not walking with Jo this could have been avoided.

"Josette Olivia Parker from this day forward I promise to always try to protect you." I said to my sister though I couldn't always hold that promise when it came to the leaders of the coven.

Flashback ends

I snapped out of that memories when they announce that we had arrived in Miami.
