Crossing was a mistake.

Crossing was a mistake that I made. Watching the traffic light turn from a bloody red to a blissful green. The sound of vehicles breaking, and the people chattering around in their cars gave me that go to cross the two streets ahead of me. Not looking both ways I walked with my friends I had grown up with. "Loui! Hurry, Run!" This greenish blue minivan with an infant and an irritated father almost had our names written on the tires if we hadn't ran fast enough. Panting repeatedly we rested at the gas station "Magnolia Discount." We spoke about the furious father we've seen with his slanted eyebrows. The corner of my eye spotted that van. Driving a little over the speed limit in to the gas station. Driver and passenger's see through windows were down. "Watch where you're fucking going kids!" We just stared at him. He'd gotten out of the car with the sane face he'd had in the car. Walking towards the trunk he opened it. Reaching for something I would of never imagined. Something that would ruin both of my friends and family's lives all together.
