I am Maya, the girl who was abducted from a small village in the woods by a group of strangely dressed men. I later found out that they were a part of the Royal bodyguards. After that I was immediately brought to the palace in which I have been imprisoned ever since then.
Soon after arriving I had the greatest epiphany of my life. I am one of the princesses, but not from the queen. My mother was once upon a time the King's mistress, but when she conceived me she left the palace. So that makes me an illegitimate princess. Then why was I brought back after 16 long years.
The king who has eight children from the queen, five daughters and three sons suddenly remembered me one fine day and that's why out of immense longing ordered to abducte me, meanwhile killing my mother on the way, at least that's what I was told.
My dear mother who was always sick out of great worries for me. In those days I used to be quite confused over her worries and called them stupid. Little did I know then the worries were all for this day when we will no longer be together. I can never really accept the king and his mean Royal family as mine, neither can I ever forgive him for what he did to my mother. A poor soul who lived all her life in poverty and sickness despite being a Royal concubine. Who never had any great ambitions but to see her daughter in good health and happy. I still can't believe that she is no more. I cannot ever accept this fate thrown forcefully at me by my so called father, the cruel king.
When I first arrived here I didn't had the slightest idea why he brought me here in a hurry. But now I know. It is for today...
