Ch.6 Vale of Tears

"Hey look" Tony pointed to a  lake "It's the pool of tears".

"Alistair" Kitty said "Did your mother really cry that much?"

"I actually don't know" Alistair said.

"It says that we have to cross the lake" Cari read on the map "But how?"

"Leave that to me" Lizzie said. She then used her magic touch to build a raft made out of playing card.

"Whoa!" everyone gasped.

"And it's strong enough to carry all of us" Lizzie added.

"What about the oars?" Tammy asked.

"I've got this" Maddie said as she reached her hand into her hat of many things and pulled out two oars.

"Thanks Mads" Alistair said. Everyone then got on the card raft and started rowing. But in the middle of the lake, Bunny noticed something moving in the water.

"Hey what's that in the water?" she asked.

"I think it's on oyster" Kitty said.

"And why are oysters swimming around the raft?" Tammy asked.

"This doesn't look good" Marchness said.

"And why do my feet feel wet?" Dina asked as she looked down and saw that water was over her feet, she also saw a hole in the raft with water coming in "Guys there's a hole in the raft!"

Lizzie quickly shut the hole with a card.

"May be the oysters did it!" Bunny said.

"But oysters don't have teeth" Tammy said.

Just then, an oyster jumped out of the water towards Kitty, but she quickly used her claws to stab the oyster. She looked at the oyster on her claw and saw that it had sharp teeth.

"Guys" she said "These oysters have sharp teeth! Look!" she said as she showed everyone the oyster.

"Whoa!" everyone gasped.

"We have to get to the other side!" Marchness said as everyone started to row faster. Lizzie then saw an oyster swimming toward their raft, she noticed that it was about to jump.

"Guys duck!" she shouted as everyone ducked. The oyster then jumped out of the water and towards Lizzie, but she used her hobby horse and whacked the oyster out of the way.

"Yes!" she exclaimed as she hit more oysters that jumped out of the water "We're almost there!" she pointed to the other side "Keep rowing!"

Lizzie continued to hit more oysters as they finally made it to the other side.

"That was scary!" Tammy exclaimed as they got off the raft.

"What's next?" Tony asked Cari.

"Next is the Hatter's domain" Cari read.

"Oo, daddy's domain" Maddie said "Let's go!"
