Autumn’s POV:

“Alright guys, we’re done!” Nate, my photographer said to all of us who were in the studio.

“Ah, thank God! These heels are killing me.” I mumbled to myself as I removed the six-inched high heels. Yes, you read that right. I had to wear these 6 freaking inches high heels because of this long, flow-ish dress I was currently wearing. I was meant to wear an average height heels, but apparently the designer made a mistake and the dress was longer than it should be. Me, being a good girl I was, not complaining at all and just nodded when they ask me to wear a six-inches heels to make my feet still visible.

“Do you want to stay here and keep complaining or quickly change so we can leave soon?” Arsene, my manager, scowled up at me (because I was higher than him at the moment, thanks to the heels).

“Okay, just wait a sec! You’re not the one who wears these things for hours, Arse.” with one swift move I ran to the changing room before Arsene could respond something at my insult. He’d always been furious everytime I made fun of his name.

“What did you say?!” I heard his voice behind the door and I suppressed my giggle. Well, it wasn’t like I was the only one who made fun of the one of us.

“Ready to leave?” Arsene glanced down at me (now I was shorter than him again) with the same expression on his face when he was with me, irritated and somewhat annoyed. He had always been the grumpy kind of person, but I’d known him since forever and I knew he still loved me despite his behavior.

“Yes, just give me a second to say bye to the others.”

“Is that really necessary?” he groaned, exasperated but I ignored him.

“Hey guys! Thanks for today! I had some fun!” I shouted cheerily at the people in the room and they stopped whatever they were doing and all smiled back at me.

“Bye! See ya soon!”

“No, WE thank you!”

“Do you really have to leave, babe?”

“We should work together again soon!”

They all said at the same time, and I tried my best to reply them.

“See ya! Yes I have to leave, Arsene’s keep whining! I’d love to work with you guys again! Bye!” I gave my last wave and went out the room with a scowling Arsene.

I dug my purse in search of our flat key. I unlocked the door and there in a sitting position was our Golden Retriever puppy, Luke. I paced forwards and hugged his fluffy body.

"Hey Lukeeee! Why aren't you at auntie's? Arsene, you left him here?" I looked at Arsene with an accusing face.

Arsene sighed. "yes, mum went out with her friends and Diana hasn't home yet. I'd rather left him here than in mum's flat."

I gave it a thought for a second. "okay, I forgive you."

"who asked for your apologize?" he stared at me flatly.

"oh, just admit it Arse, you felt guilty." I shrugged, trying to keep my face straight.

"did not."

"did too." now I grinned. He didn't even get mad about me calling him Arse. He showed his soft side when it came to Luke, how cute.

"whatever," he just huffed, stopping for a second beside me to pat Luke's head. Then, with a smirk on his lips he patted my head too, as if I was his other pet.
