When Kaia saw the snow outside she was a bit hesitant to it first it was white and it melted on your skin at contact. She really didn't mind the cold she swam in cold waters so this wasn't bad at all. When she ran outside Jacob quickly called her back in because she was only wearing shorts'' Hey come back in Bambi it's cold outside'' Jacob said as he ushered her back in''You have to wear warm clothes alright'' Jacob smiled as he ushered her back in as brought her into the room.
''lets get you into something warm''He rummaged through her closet before picking out a white sweater, skinny blue jeans, Big white winter coat, White winter hat and white gloves that had snowflakes on them.When Jacob walked out to give her some privacy she put on the clothes walking out the door to her room all bundled up. Jacob was wearing a sweater and a coat same as her. They both walked outside the ride to school was fine but she didn't like all this snow in her face.

As they walked into the school Jacob and her parted ways to go to class she didn't like leaving him but she had two for the classes she only had one with him. Mike helped her along the way again because she felt to overwhelmed when the students entered the hall. She smelt jasper already making his way to class or to probably watch her. Kaia stopped in her tracks when she heard something patter onto the floor.
That's when she met with the most amazing smell on this planet, Human blood. She'd never ate a human before but that one drop of blood could set her into a shark frenzy and it did. Hunger spilled out from her as her eyes turned a bright blue color the rest of her eyeball practically turning black . When she began to walk towards the student before someone wrapped their arm around her. Alarmed and hungry she began to try and move but the arm was tight she smelled the familiar smell of honey and the forest.
''Easy''She heard as she looked up at him as she felt a calming sensation spread through her. Her hunger ceased and she relaxed a lot the kid seemed to be gone already and the only thing that lingered was the smell. When she looked into his eyes her eyes turned back into the normal chocolate browns ones. The world around them seemed to go quiet it was like They were the only ones there just then Kaia places her hands on his closing her eyes. They stayed like that for a few seconds before she opened her eyes and tugged out of his grip walking into class.
Jasper watched her for the whole time she could feel his stare burning into her skull. They kept going back and forth with each other everytime Jasper wasn't looking she stared at him and evertime she wasn't looking he stared at her.Kaia stayed calm all through out the class doing her work as needed but when it was time to go all hell broke lose''Since we're learning about the civil war i'm giving you each a project to work with a partner i assign to you.I want you to research about it and give me a presentation of your choosing. Everything else you need to know is in the packet the name of your partner is going to be at the top of the page'' He explained as he handed out the papers.
When the teacher handed her the paper she saw the name at the top and almost fell back. Jasper was her partner what in the world. She stayed silent as she put her paper down but internally she was screaming her heart out. When class ended Kaia quickly stood up about to walk from her desk but jasper stopped her.''I'll pick you up tomorrow after school...if that's okay with you'' He said he stood straight and tall he never faltered his voice was stiff but still smooth his shoulders rose and fell like he was breathing but She couldn't actually hear him that definitely wasn't human.
She nodded slowly she was surprised he didn't ask her what she was. She gave him another nod before leaving out of the classroom. She quickly walked outside when she saw jacob on the bike she ran over to him excitedly hugging him. As they rode back to the house Jacob was sitting in Kaia's room and they both were chilling out watching in people inside the tv eating her now knew favorite snack called chocolate. Kaia thought she should tell jacob she's going over the cullens which seemed to be a good idea.''Jacob, Project''Kaia said as Jacob looked up to her rasing his eyebrow.
''With who?''Jacob asked as he looked away from the tv.''Jasper''She said then all hell broke loose.''What! The cullens? No no no you will not be spending a whole day with those leeches''Jacob said then he began ranting how bad they were she didn't think they were bad so what was up with them.''Fail'' Kaia huffed if she didn't do this project she knew she and jasper would both fail.''Kaia you can say no you can do the project here with me and the boys, safe''Jacob said as Kaia shook her head even though that sounded like an awesome idea but she wanted to have other friends other then the boys.
Jacob sighed in defeat he couldn't protect her while she was on their grounds. He knew she could protect herself but there was something in him telling him to protect her.
