Let's escape from here

"Hey, you want to get out of here?" The raven haired male asks Seungkwan out of the blue, his slightly western twanged speech carrying an underlying tone of anticipation and avidity.

"What?"

"Well," He looked down at this thumbs, consciously fiddling with them to avoid Seungkwans curious gaze. "I don't know what exactly happened nor what youre going through, and I respect that you don't want to talk about it but, when I'm upset I find that it helps to escape, you know? To not think about what's bothering me, even if its just for a while" he broke his mini soliloquy to capture Seungkwan in his dark beige eyes once again, that in that moment carried so much sympathy and delicateness that the shorter almost felt like he could truly understand what he was going through, despite not knowing anything at all. It was a look that made him want to trust him without hesitation "At least then," the taller reasoned "I feel assured that Im not acting impulsively with my heart but rationally with my head, so what do you say we get out of here?" He asked again, his head cocking slightly towards the side in hesitation.

Come to think of it, Seungkwan had done most of the talking between them up till now. But now that he heard Hansol out for perhaps the first time, he realised just how level headed he was. In fact, perhaps Seungkwan had misjudged him all along, and beneath that carefree facade Hansol was way smarter and mature than he was putting out to be. Something about this new found characteristic of his roommate struck a very familiar bell within him. Reminds me of...myself. And he convinced himself that if it was not his attractive face or his way with words that had allowed him to trust him, that that reason alone would suffice. Because maybe, he felt relieved that he wasnt the only one hiding behind a mask, that Hansol too had vulnerabilities. And though he would probably never admit it aloud, he enjoyed this foreign feeling of nakedness, so much so that if Hansol was a forbidden book, he felt the urge to read every page, aloud, to himself and lock his secret within his own pages.

"Okay fine" the shorter said finally and watched Hansol contract in visible relief. "Great! I know exactly the place, grab your jacket by the way" He told the blonde and immediately scampered to find his belongings, after which they both left their shared room, Seungkwan complacently following Hansol underneath the twilight.

"Where are we going again?"

"Think of it as a er.. surprise" Hansol answered briefly, too busy looking for something in the university's carpark. "Where did I put it again?" he mumbled to himself quietly and briefly texted someone on his phone. Seungkwan refrained from eavesdropping on Hansols phone, but he was certain that he was tracking something on a map and he had no choice but to follow him in pursuit.

Once Hansol finally had found his prized treasure neatly parked behind the shade of a cherry blossom tree, the colour from Seungkwans face had vanished for the second time that day. For one, he didnt know what to expect from this unforeseen getaway, but he definitely had not imagined a BMW R 1250 R sports bike. Hell, Seungkwan didnt even know Hansol owned a bike, yeah sure enough he took him for a skate boi of sorts but this was beyond his imagination. Hansol lifted the seat to take out a matching helmet with a replica of the bikes signature fluorescent green streaks and handed it to Seungkwan. "W-were going to ride that!!" He exclaimed in shock making Hansol pout slightly, "What's wrong with this?"

"Oh I dont know, nothing I guess- EXCEPT THE FACT THAT IT'S A KILLING MACHINE"

"Well youre right about that" Hansol said under his breath, smiling at all the modifications him and Tobi Lou had done on his baby.

"What was that!-"

"I mean- dont worry, come on~" he pulled Seungkwan towards him by the hand and clicked the helmet safety on Seungkwans head himself. A small gasp of surprise followed by a growing blush appeared on the apples of Seungkwans cheeks, for it felt almost illegal to be so close to Hansol. "Don't you trust me?" The lather asked and Seungkwan found him immediately nodding, as if in a trance, and he couldnt help but wonder how Hansol could have such a magnetic command on his own body.

"Good" he smiled and athletically mounted the beast that he calls his means of transport. "Hop on" he signaled at Seungkwan, who stood there reluctantly taking in the visage of the sports bike. "Hansol, Ive never ridden a bike" he confessed to his roommate without shame, but felt the embarrassment later cloud his face. Hansol smiled at him comfortingly, "then Im glad I'm your first, don't worry, it seems scary initially but when you get used to it its fun, just like" he thought for a second "sex" he said and blushed at his own words "or yOu know- a roller coaster" he covers up sheepishly and scratches the back of his head.

Pursing his lips, Seungkwan carefully climbs onto the rear seat, rather uncomfortably making sure not to sit too close to Hansol, as if touching him would distract him too much. Hansol chuckled softly and pulled his roomate plush against his back "Seungkwan youre too tense, I told you its like a roller coaster and this" he quickly grabbed hold of Seungkwans arms and wrapped them around his waist "is your seatbelt". Seungkwan winced internally; We're too close, he thought. Maybe, it was the exhilaration of riding a bike, or the stress he still carried from the day before, or maybe, just maybe it was Hansol himself that was making Seungkwan feel this anxious of the night ahead of him.

"Hold on tight" is the last thing he hears Hansol say before the taller kickstarts the machine, sending a mechanical roar through the dimly lit car park. They exit to the highway shortly and Hansol jerks into an accelerating speed all too sudden, causing Seungkwan to grasp onto his waist eventighter, from where he could feel how firm the tallers abdomen actually was even through his black windcheater jacket, how the muscles on his back and arms flexed against his own chest everytime he accelerated further, how the insides of thighs overlaid Hansols toned ones. He wondered whether Hansol could feel it too, the way his heart was pounding with anxiety and euphoria in its rib cage, the way he yearned to instinctively place his cheek on his warm shoulder, they way he spelt almost always like peaches.

The city lights dimmed to just the streetlights as they sped down the highway and into one of the lesser used service roads towards the outskirts of town. And the further the blinding lights got, the more bold the violent organic sky got, illuminated by dozens of twinkling stars, shining a light of their own. As they sped into- well god knows where, Seungkwans mind numbed, he no longer even felt the piercing wind that had disheveled Hansols ebony hair on his rosy cheeks: it was just him, Hansol and the stars.

Temporarily forgotten was the fear of tomorrow, the burden of yesterday and the surprise of today, and as Hansol howled against the wind in a spirit so pure to what they were meant to be; just two dumb teenage boys who didnt need to worry about having their worlds in their hands, Seungkwan smiled brighter than the very stars above him and holwed back to the wind, as if in unison saying a big 'fuck you' to the world.

I was extremely excited to write this chapter because it's kinda soft, more romantic stuff coming up very soon so stay tuned (maybe some kissing?!?! I don't know, you tell me and I'll deliver if you want it XD)

Sorry for slow updates by the way, I was really tied down by university stuff and friendship drama. Good new is I'm back! and it'll be about a month until I'm really going to get super busy with uni, so I hope that I can finish this story before then, since I wouldn't like to keep you all hanging. Thanks again for reading,

Love,
