Marc’s POV
Many years had passed when I first met the love of my life, Sky Sabaybay, whom we slowly fell for each other each day. We graduated and had our own jobs, Me as a motivational speaker while her as a professional child psychologist. Even in our busy lives back then, it didn’t stopped us from meeting and talking to each other, we became together when we graduated.
Flashback
I was graduating as Summa cum laude and had the highest grade overall in the university, which the school made me speak for the graduation.
It was now moment for the speech, I went to the stage and stood at the mic. I breathed heavily before starting, Good morning ladies and gentlemen, school teachers and to our dear principal, here in front of you is Marxson Kastilyo as the speaker for today, I didn’t knew that I would have the privilege to stand in front of you all or even graduate, I said which made the crowd laugh.
When I was in high school, I was the laziest student and even sacristan back then, my nanay and kuya would get mad when I was late for school or at the mass, let me tell you, it is just five steps away from the convention to the church. I saw nay and kuya facepalmed and chuckled.
I continued, but when I met this girl at the event, she changed my life, she became my inspiration to work hard and serve the Lord happily, because of her, I made up with my kuya, she made my life awesome and fun throughout those years, her name is Sky Sabaybay, the love of my life.
I went down the stage and went to her, she was teary-eyed, my sweet angel, and I kneeled in front of her, which made the crowd the scream, and made her shocked.
Sky Sabaybay, my “langit” and my everything. Thank you for all the things you’ve done for me especially in helping me stand up, I love every bit of you, I could imagine the life we are going to have together, you the mother of my child, and me coming back to after work. I want to spend my whole life with you Sky, so will you marry me? As I show a box and opened it, there is a beautiful ring which the moon and stars are carved.
“Tangina ka” she cursed at me, which made the people have mixed emotions, “Of course, I will marry you idiot” she said while lending her hand.
I shaking when putting the ring in her finger and hugged her tight.
YES! Thank you Lord! I shouted at the top my lungs.
I love you, my Luna, I told her and kissed her forehead.
“I love you too my Sol” she said.
