Natsu x Reader (Chapter one)

                    'Finally....' I sighed as I sat down heavily at the guild bar. MiraJane saw me and let out a small laugh as she strode over to me with a drink in hand.

   'Rough day?...' she said sliding it over to me. 'I would say the worst but we both know that I've had worse....' I took a big gulp of Ale letting out a sigh of relief as I felt it burn down my throat. 'If your drinking it like that then it was certainly bad.... Tell me what happened. I'm all ears.' she said resting her head on her hand before giving me one of her famous smiles.

  I took another sip as if preparing for the story then started. 'I went out on a quest with Lucy and Gray this time....' I paused for a while thinking back to when I asked them to join me for a mission before choosing to continue.

  'We were supposed to go under cover as merchants to find out the guys responsible for the constant robberies that have been happening lately in a certain village....and capture them. At least that's what was supposed to happen.' I said the last part under my breath with a little growl.

    'Turns out Natsu decided to follow us coz he didn't like the idea of leaving me alone with Gray..... something to do with him infecting me with his stupidity......... Anyways him and Gray ended up breaking into a fight and blowing up our cover as well as everything around them including the stolen treasure.' I decided to take another drink to help cool down my rising anger.

    'The only good thing is that the mayor was kind enough to pay us for catching the thieves regardless of what they did..... or else I would have made them juggle knives on a ball to get me back my money.' I let my head drop on the table with a heavy sigh.

   'I swear I don't know how Lucy does it.' seriously I would have gone mad by now. 'That's Natsu for you.' she said with a small laugh making me smile a little at the thought and before I even knew it I spoke. 'Yeah.... I know. Which makes me wonder why I even like the guy.' Shit, what did I just do. I thought instantly regretting every thing I just said.

    'OH MY GOD!!! YOU LIKE NATSU!!!' MiraJane literally screamed making the rest of the guild look at us.' Okay I get it..... I like Natsu just don't shout it.' ' Oops sorry.....' I could tell that it took her everything to just calm down and not go screaming to everyone about her knew discovery. 'So.... does he know yet.' ' WHAT!!! NO!!!....' I should have known she was gonna question me. 'Jezz y/n look who's shouting now...' she said smirking making me role my eyes.

   ' I mean...... I-I haven't told him yet.' I said regaining my composture. ' Why not the way I see it I think that he likes you too....' 'I don't know Mira what if he rejects me.....what then I don't think that I can handle it. I don't want to loose him or our friendship.' I don't want to loose Natsu.

    'Trust me y/n the sooner you tell him the better. It's not nice to keep some one waiting ..... Besides do you really think that Natsu will just end your friendship just like that. His not the kind to just sever bonds, have faith in your relationship with him.' She's right Natsu can never do that but I just can't help but feel scared. I took the last sip of my Ale placing the mug down along with a jewel before standing up.

     'You're right I shouldn't be scared....' MiraJane smiled. ' So your going to tell him...' Yeah.... I think so but first I need a week off to calm down after my mission with the others. ' ' Yeah that makes sense..... I'll be sure to let the master know.' ' Thanks Mira.......' I swang my bag over my shoulder making my way out of the guild hall taking a breath of fresh air before smiling to myself . 'This is going to be a long week......'
