"Kehlani you gotta get up for school" I groaned.

I got up and did my hygiene things then put on a simple outfit.

After I did my hair I went into my dad's room with a pout.

"But dad I don't wanna go" I whined.

"You don't have a choice, Lani," He replied.

"You do me so wrong it doesn't make any sense" I fake cried.

"I love you kiddo" He said laughing as he kissed my cheek.

"I love you too dad" I smiled to myself.

Maybe going to a new school won't be so bad-

Okay I need to stop lying to myself.

I said my goodbyes to my dad and walked to the bus stop.

I don't have a car just yet so I'm going to be on the bus for now.

I miss my best friends so much.

Going to a new school in a totally different state in a totally different city was not a part of my plans.

I walked to the bus stop and got on my phone until the bus came.

Once the bus did come I got on and tried to find an empty seat.

All the attention was on me and I was starting to feel uncomfortable.

I found a seat in the back of the bus thankfully.

I didn't feel like asking anybody if I could sit with them.

People act stingy with the seats anyways.

I answered after I connected my AirPods.

"Heyyy girlies" Imani said, smiling into the camera.
