Noel's P.O.V.
"I'm so fucking glad that we get to cook food today in this period" Mitch says as we walk side by side into our nutrition and wellness class.
"Why? Are you hungry?" I ask before we take our assigned seats.
"Noel, I'm a growing young man... What do you think?" Mitch looks over at me and chuckles.
"I'm starving as well, I skipped breakfast this morning. I wonder what we're cooking" I say before Lukas walks into the classroom and takes his usual seat next to me, completely avoiding eye contact with Mitch.
I knew Lukas lost all respect for Mitch all over again when he started to mess around with Ashley, but I just hoped that Lukas would get over all of this soon.
"Hey Lukas, having a good day so far?" I look over at my friends direction and send him a warm smile.
"I actually was having a good day so far, you know that was until I set my foot in this class, and had to see someone I truly don't like" Lukas says loudly, clearly not caring if Mitch over hears or not.
I shoot Mitch a apologetic look for Lukas's comment as I notice his body starts to tense, and mutters a whatever under his breath.
"Lukas, can you try to be somewhat nice while your around Mitch? He's really trying to be our friend again" I whisper to my stubborn best friend.
"Our friend? Noel he was never my friend, and hardly yours either" Lukas sternly tells me.
"But you were actually starting to like him before all of this Ashley and Ben drama began. You know I'm right about that" I say before looking at Mitch to make sure he isn't listening on mine and Lukas conversation.
And he's not.
He's simply looking down at his phone under the desk so the teacher doesn't see.
I was about to look back at Lukas before I catch a glimpse of Mitch's phone screen, and see Ashley's name pop up.
It was a notification that she sent him a text message. And right before Mitch starts to reply back to her, he looks up at me and notices my staring.
I immediately look back to Lukas who's been talking about something that I clearly wasn't paying any attention to.
"I'm sorry what? I didn't hear you" I tell him, hoping Mitch won't question me on why I was looking down at his phones screen.
Lukas let's out a sigh before speaking "I was saying on how I never actually liked Mitch... Like ever. Since the day he came to this school, I always had a strong dislike for him. And it's just gotten worse with each mistake he's made".
"Then how come you were nice to him that day we all hung out with each other? You know the day I broke up with Ben... And not to mention you also were joking around with him during lunch on the first day of school" I ask slightly confused.
"Well that's just it, I was just being nice. And it was only for you, because you wanted me too and plus I'm not that huge of a dick, now am I?" Lukas tells me with a small grin forming on his lips.
"No your actually a pretty huge dick Lukas" I joke around.
"More like I have a pretty huge dick" Lukas says with a big smirk plastered on his face.
