Chapter 8

We were getting close to the end of the year which means next is graduation and then college. We all applied to the same university which in this case was Berkeley and we all got accepted, let's just say Noah wasn't happy because I used to want to go to Harvard but they didn't accept me so I'm going to berkeley,  I was interrupted by some morning sickness, I have been feeling sick and I have no idea why. I was coming out of one of the Flynns bathroom from throwing up when Noah is standing there in front of his door and just staring at me and I just said "Can I help you?" and he just said "Nope, now I can't even stare because your thinking other things." I laughed and said "You wish Noah, now if you'll excuse me I need to go out." And he said "Shelly, I'm not jealous if that's why your with that guy." And I laughed and said "You know what? It's not because of you that I'm with him, it's because I'm in love with him and I am not trying to make you jealous. See ya."

I was actually going in to see our new house because Lee, Rachel, Marco, and I are moving in together, I have some things here already. I was with Rachel when we got to the house and again I had to throw up, when I was done throwing up she looked at me and asked me "Elle, are you preg..." And before she could finish she threw up too, when she was done we both looked at each other and took off to the pharmacy for tests. 

When we got to the pharmacy we took off to the section were they have all the girl stuff. When we got there we got 2 boxes of each and went to pay, the cashier smiled at us and started asking us how we were and we answered with "we're good, how about you?" And she told us it was a busy day but it was good. When we got out we went back to our new house and went to different bathrooms to take them when we were done with them we came out to wait for the results we were hugging each other and shaking. The 5 minutes were over and we went inside to check the results, when I came out of the bathroom with the tests in hand I had tears slipping and Rachel had tears too, we both said together "I'm Pregnant." And we squealed and hugged each other. I cleaned my tears and said "Okay, we need to figure out how to tell everybody." And she nodded.

Later on that day we didn't know how to tell our family so Rachel and I said we needed to go out to dinner, they all agreed so I took Rachel with me because they all said they needed time to get ready and I had a plan ready. When we got there I knew everybody so I said hi to everybody and told them my plan and they all agreed. When everyone got here including Marco and his family they all sat down and one of waitresses came and took everyone's orders she didn't ask for mine and Lee's since we both come here often. When she came back with everyone's orders she gave them to everybody, once everyone finished she came up and took all the plates and I nodded to her to bring the dessert even though nobody asked for dessert, when she came back with the dessert they all looked at her and June said "Sweety, I think you got the wrong table." And she just smiled and placed a plate in front of everyone with different papers that said "Congrats dad, Hi aunty, Hi uncle Lee, Hi uncle Brad, Hi grandma, Hi grandma, Hi grandpa, Hi grandpa." When they were gonna take the second bite that's when they all see it and I hear Marco say "Are you serious babe?" And I say "Yes babe, I'm serious." And he came up and hugged me and I see Lee stare at the two papers and he says "Rachel, you two?" and she said "Yes Lee, me too." I see Noah and Chloe confused so I say out loud so all the chefs and waitresses come out "WE'RE PREGNANT YALL." And Noah got up and left super mad but we just ignored it and left it like that. 

When we got to the Flynn house we saw that Noah was home so we just went to take a seat at kitchen table and just talked about our plans for when we move to the new house and a bit about the babies and June says "I guess it's happening again with you and Rachel." And we all laughed until Noah came and said "Thanks Shelly for at least giving me one of those papers in the dessert." And I just said "Sorry Noah, but I didn't know what yours and Chloe's was gonna say so I just didn't put one for you and her so don't go feeling to bad." Soon after that he said "Mom and Dad, Chloe and I need to get going because our plane take off in about two hours and we need to get our bags checked out so we need to go." All they said was "Okay, you two take care and hope you get there safe." And Noah went up to his room and then came down with Chloe and they had their bags in hands and they said bye but nobody got up and gave them a hug.
