I took off my purple robe and then grabbed my black pair of straight fit jeans and matched it with a black graphic top to put on. I then quickly smudged on some concealer and a nude shade of lipstick, which I ended up wiping off since it looked too dramatic. I then rapidly chucked on my army green coat and attempted to tie up my curly hair into a bun, which went terribly so I let it down instead. I tried to hurriedly retrace my steps back to the same spot in the park as I knew I only had 2 hours before my mother came home.
Once I got there as usual it was empty, but this time it was only me. I thought I'd perhaps came too late so he left. As I went to turn back round I suddenly felt an entity standing behind me and as I slowly turned only my face around, his broad chest came over my view. I knew it was him because I recognised the scent from when I first met him, it was like a mixture of musk and sandalwood. I moved back a little then turned my whole body around to face him.
Something peculiar I noticed about him was that every time we made eye contact, a state of almost shock came over his expression. Which yet again happened. He was silent, again. For a slight moment nothing filled the still air except for our eyes glaring at eachother. His eyes were brown this time, and as the sunlight reflected upon them it looked as if his iris were filled in using freshly poured syrup.
'No one has been able to see me for 10 years now, but you. You see me' he said
I gulped
'How do you know my name' I questioned'You weren't at University today, I overheard your friend speak of you after not answering a call..' he said
'You go to my.. but I have never seen of you before, or around ..ever'
'I don't, I sometimes briefly visit you from afar'
'What!.. like standing outside my bedroom window wasn't enough'
'Im sorry that you feel that way about me I guess then I should also give you my name, it's Edris Eden.. are we fair now?'
'No' I exclaimed
'And you haven't said what it is that you want from me.''I just told you.' He went silent
'That only I see you..? Of course only I see you the park is empty.'
He let out a laugh, making his fangs for the first time become exposed.
He then moved closer to me and the only length in distance that stood in-between us was a millimetres measurements worth. He was very close. Afterwards he laid out his palm and said
'I know that you can see me but.. can you touch me' he looked over at my hand as he waited for me to put it atop of his.
I then placed only my index finger inside the mid point of his palms. I touched him. His palms were unnaturally cold but still, I was able to feel a touch between us. But then gently he grapped my whole hand with his other hand and used it to trap my hand in between both his hands. He then squeezed at my hand ever so gently as his eyes saddened. It was as though he had never been held in the entirety of his life.
