Me and payton went to chick-fil-a because why tf not. Anyways, a lot of girls were looking at payton and I hated that but we got to live with the facts. He hot and I'm not. Then one of my best friends came over to me and she is a human. Her name is charli and she knows that me and payton are vampires. She is also a doppelganger of a vampire and that vampires name is Dixie. She sits at the table we are at and she starts talking.

(Char-Charli)

Char: ok so if I'm a decendant of Dixie does that make me part vampire
P: vampires can't procreate but we love to try

She looks at him weird

S: no what he means is that if u were related to her then that would mean that u were Dixie's child and that she got pregnant with u when she was a human.

She was still confused but acted like she wasn't. She started taking the tomatoes out of her chicken sandwich.

S: anyways charli did u notice how avani was looking at payton at the party
Char: yes what I don't get is why she likes u

( oh and some more information about charli her mom is a police officer and payton is her moms friend. Charlis family knows that me and payton are vampires.and in this story Dixie isn't charlis sister)

P: oh shit I have to go help Heidi with the open cases she has.

Then he left. The police station was only around the corner so yea

PAYTON'S POV

I went to the police station and I went to Heidi's office and I grabbed the folders in front of her and I started sorting them. She smiled because I was quick

I picked the first folder up and I opened it

I went through all 3 of them. And then she handed me another her and she asked if I did that one so I opened it and I said

P: really 15 dead in a bar I could do better than that. But nope that wasn't me probably hope because she is a beginner. Bye

I left before she said anything and I saw Steph waiting for me.

Back to Stephanies POV

I saw payton walking towards me with a smirk.

S: stop it
P: why *smirks again*
S: because it's weird
P: fine ooo I see my friends
S: what did u say
P: I meant I see people I hang out with JACKSON! DYLAN!

Jk: ok so since there is a barrier here for magic so I walked around mystic Falls to see where my hunter instincts disappeared.
P: meaning what ur biceps shrunk and ur brain got smaller.

Then I saw someone with a mask on pointing a gun at payton with wooden bullets

S: payton move
P: why
S: just move
P: ok

He moved and then the persons mask came off and it was someone I never thought it would it was.....
