Kairi- So how was LA?
Y- It was okay. I wouldn't say the best
Kairi- Better than here?
Y- I got a break from here but it wasn't better than here but it was ight i guess
Kairi- It was hell when you left and when we finally got together you came back
Y- Well i'm sorry if i ruined what you had
Kairi- You didn't. Don't think that
Y- Why does it feel like i ruin everything?
Kairi- You didn't. Everyone changes at some point Yn don't blame yourself!
Y- I don't know Kai
Kairi- Well i do! You never deserved what happened but it happened. You moved on. You changed and care more about yourself now Nd not letting others hurt you. You've grown tougher
I looked down
Y- I didn't
Kairi- What?
Y- Kai i'm still broken inside. I never grew stronger
Kairi- To me you did. Yn stop saying you didn't because you did. You even grew taller than me
Y- I was always taller than you
Kairi- Killed the moment
I laugh
Y- Thanks
Kairi- No problem bestie
He side hugs me Nd we watch onto the field. People messing about. Playing soccer.
Kairi- So you gonna try out for any sports?
Y- In LA i grew a liking to Volleyball and Soccer
Kairi- You should try out for soccer! They're adding a girls team
Y- Maybe i should
Kairi- I'll watch you practise and i can teach you
Y- Alright fine i will
Kairi- Good now lets go
Y- Don't we have class?
Kairi- Who cares about class?
Y- We are seniors we need it for college
Kairi- Eh, skipping one class won't hurt. We need a break once in a while
Y- Okay lets go
Kairi- Imma go get my soccer ball from my locker so i'll be back
Y- Ight
He walks off and i felt a tap on my shoulder. I look behind me and see Katie
Y- May i help you?
Katie- Look i don't know how many times you want me to say sorry
Y- Until you mean it
Katie- I do. I never say sorry to anyone
Y- Seems like you said it Lauren and Mya
Katie- Lauren was a mistake
Y- But you thought it was okay to move to who was my best friend
Katie- I was lonely and she reminded me of you
Y- Tf! She is nothing like me Katie, what is wrong with you
Katie- You never let me talk and explain
Y- Explain what. I got over the fucking bet now leave me alone before i do something i'll regret
Katie- Like what. You love me enough to hurt me
Y- Who told you that
I laugh and turn around
Katie- There's a part of you that still likes me Yn you can't lose feelings that quick
Y- It was a year Katie! I'm with Aidan now and you have Mya.
Katie- So?
I felt my eyes water and i turn around
Y- So maybe its best you leave me alone Katie. Its for the best and all my feelings for you vanished
Katie- Your lying i can tell
Y- I'm not now leave me alone
I pick up my bag and walk away leaving her there. I forget about Kairi and walk to my class. I look through the door and see Kairi sitting at his desk. He looked up at me and mouthed 'i'm sorry' i walked away and to my locker.
I put in my combination and saw a picture of me and Aidan. But something in me didn't feel right. Like there is a secret that somebody is keeping from me.
I shrug it off and throw my bag in there and slam it shut.
I sneak out to my car and unlock it.
I got in the drivers and started the car.
I reversed and started driving back home.
When i got home, my mother wasn't home. Strange. Maybe she started going to work again.....
