"But it's clear that you can't face what's wrong,
No need to fix what God already put his paintbrush on"
—J. Cole, Crooked
"Girl, you don't even know. That hoe legs stay open. Like a fucking McDonald's. It's always open, good at first, but in the end it give you diseases." Princess ranted.
"And that's why we call that hoe McDonald's." Jas smiled.
I'd been laughing at these girls all day bruh. They're hilarious. Half the shit they say don't make sense though. We were walking down the street to the bus stop.
"We chillin at yours today Jas?" Princess asked, plopping down on the bench.
"Yeah girl. I ain't got no food though. We gone have ta get sum." She sat next to Princess as I leaned on the pole.
"I can't make it. I gotta pick up my brother." I shrugged stepping closer to the curb as I spotted the bus.
"Aye Dex!" I heard someone call. I turned my head and saw A leaning out of Smoke's passenger window.
I smiled and jogged over, walking around to the driver window.
"Wassup boy?" I smiled, leaning on the window.
"Boy? Ma, I'm a grown ass man." he cheesed.
"Oh yeah I forgot, old man." I giggled.
"You still got jokes huh?" He smiled getting out of the car.
I stepped back "What you doin' old man?"
He opened the backseat door for me. "Get in shawty."
"Shawty?" I questioned.
He chuckled lightly "Yeah. Shawty."
"I would, but I gotta pick up my brother."
"We ca' scoop him up on da way to Jas'." he suggested.
"Ion know, I prolly needa go home. My ma prolly want us to come on home."
"Come on, I wanna chill wit you a lil." he smiled.
"Well okay... Let's go then." I surrendered, letting him open the door for me.
Jas and Princess climbed in the back next to me. Looking behind me, in the last row, I noticed Dawn had got back there to make room. I guess the whole crew could prolly fit in here if they sat right.
"Ayyyeeee, turn this shit up! This my shit!" Jas screamed, damn near climbing to the front to turn up the radio. Rude boy blasted through the speakers and we began to sing along, loudly.
I laughed, looking at Smoke and A who looked like they was irritated. As soon as we finished the song, A turned it off and turned around.
"Y'all sound like a bunch of dyin' ass pigeons." A laughed at his his own joke
"Nigga you look like a pigeon." Dawn replied from the back.
"Yo ass wasn't saying that when I was deep in that—"
"Okay! Anyways..." she interrupted, turning red.
"Brother." Jasmine called.
"Wassup sis?" Smoke replied.
"You ca stop at Popeyes? Please brother?" she smiled sweetly.
"Aight ma. We ca stop after we get lil man and Prince. Y'all asses gone pay me my gas money too."
