"Time for school melody" I heard my mother yell.
"Coming" I said running downstairs me and my brother hopped on our bikes and ride off to school. When we get there i run in and met will a his locker. "Hey" I said
"Hey" he responds. I look around and see no one paying attention and kiss his cheek. As he opens his locker a folded piece of paper falls out. He picks it up and opens it. It's a piece of newspaper. Specifically the 'boy who came back to life' newspaper. Only wills eyes had a x on them and it said zombie boy
" hey don't worry about" I look at him. "They probably just don't know what to think. I mean you were kinda announced dead." He looks at me
"melody" he said
"Hey you coming to my house after school." I asked. He looks at me
"Appointment" he said
" Right" then they bell rings. He crumbles up the newspaper and throws it in his locker. "Your my zombie" I whisper in his ear as he closes his locker door. We were sitting in mr. Clarks science class when a girl with red hair walks in
"Dustin drum roll please" my brother closes his book and started tapping it. "All the way from sunny California please welcome maxine"
"Max" she said
"Excuse me"
"Nobody calls me maxine. It's max" Dustin and lucas look at us. I sit behind will.
"Madmax" Dustin says. When they turn back to mr. Clark I lean up and slip a note into wills pocket. Making sure he notices. He reads it he writes something back and hands it to me

End
I look at him and see Mike look at us "what?" I ask
" what's with the note? " he asked. I look at will
"Nothing" I look down and start writing in my notebook
*flashback*
"Hey where's will?" I ask as we get off our bikes
"Look who it is" me, mike, lucas, and Dustin turn around to see troy and james. "Hey who do you think would win in a freak show...." He walks up to us " midnight" he says punching lucas "frog-face" and punches mike "toothless" punches Dustin "or she-demon" and he punches me
"Touch me again and that hand comes off" they just laugh
"I go with toothless" says James
*end flashback*
The bell rings snapping me out of my thoughts.
