6 months back~~
"No! Don't! Take me instead! My brother is only a good soul trying to find peace! He has so much more to experience! Take me, for I am young and I do not know the true meaning of life." (Liar!) "I'm not as wise as him, and I know nothing but a temporary period of peace. He has suffered too much! Let him go!" (I'm so sorry! I'll come back...) "He doesn't deserve this as much as I do. So please..." "Haruka! Don't! You're only 12! Don't be mad! Come back to me!" (I'm sorry... So very sorry...) "Take me!" "As you wish, little girl. However, you know that only pain is ahead, right?" Without hesitation the girl nods, walking to the man clad in white. "We'll cleanse you, right down to the soul," he whispers, almost laughing. He takes her by the arm and drags her to the van outside while her brother is held back by their parents, screaming, crying, hopelessly asking her to come back.
The Present~~
Six months have passed and not a thing has changed. Just another day where these bloody people plunge a bloody silver knife into you, and bloody lock you up. Great. Wow. So exciting. The girl was currently in her little cell, watching, waiting, silently. She was counting as they brutally stabbed people, as painful screams of boys and girls her age were being impaled by that one, same, deadly blade.
72, 73, 74, 75, 76.... Me
Just as the number 77, or rather the word me, popped into her head, the same man who dragged her away six months ago threw open the door and grabbed her harshly. As usual, she struggled; her natural instinct. Unfortunately for her, she was still laid upon the white altar, or rather, stabbing table, she was tied down.
I need to move!
"Argh! Ack!" Bright red blood spurted out of her newly formed wound.
At least Onii-chan wouldn't have to suffer this...
"Gah!" She let's out several pained coughs, as well with a lot of blood. Her limp and pale body was thrown forcefully against the back bars of her cage.
"She's done for now. Move onto the next one." As Haruka closed her eyes, she heard the screams of the boy in the cage next to her. Flinching at the sudden loud noise, she silently whispered,
"Somebody, I don't care who... Save us... Please..."
"Oh, seems like the little lady needs help~ Tell me your wish, and I'll certainly grant it with a contract!" A cheerful and playful voice whistled.
"Demon... Huh? Good. I'll make a contract with you. I want you to be there when I need help. Revenge... Is what I need help with for now. I want you to... No. I need you to kill them." He whistled again. Seems like the men are too busy stabbing people to realise there is an intruder.
"Aren't you gonna open your eyes?" Slowly, she opened her black eyes, still innocent, though wrapped in darkness. What she saw was a white-haired figure in... Hang on a minute... A uniform? A high school uniform?
"Huh. A demon as a high schooler... It amuses me."
"So calm.. So cool.. Eh? Someone like you, something like your soul... Is worthy." In a flash the men at the table had spilled blood. The man who had dragged Haruka off, was cowering in a corner.
"Wanna make the final blow, little lady?" The demon kicks the lock off of her cage, letting her free, and hands her a gun.
"A gun huh? Typical. Can't I slice him up with a katana?" Stifling a laugh, the demon pulls out a sword from nowhere and throws it to her.
"Better." She plays with the sword while walking up to the man. Flipping it around her fingers, throwing up in the air and catching it, and finally, holding it loosely in her right hand. With no hesitation, she half-throws and half-stabs it into the man's forehead, before forcefully ripping it out.
"I desire the help. I want it. I need it. Seal the contract..." She said as she felt a slight breeze in the room, "Storm." He bows before walking up to her and touching the left side of her neck, where a red symbol appeared and started to glow.
"There you-" he was cut of by a sudden flash of white light.
"Storm! What's happening?"
"I don't know actually... Never experienced this in my seven-hundred-year life." Hearing a defending explosion, both opened their eyes, but to their amazement, it wasn't Japan... It was England.
"Why the heck are we in England? This is the Victorian era..."
"Unless we time traveled, milady." Turning around, Haruka saw Storm dressed in a butler's uniform and herself dressed in... A dress. At least it wasn't pink. No, it was a beautiful shade of dark blue and was quite slim. On her shoulder was a purse which, to her amusement, had a pocket knife in it.
"So, we have time traveled back into the Victorian era of England..." She took out a note in her purse which, to her surprise, was written on.
"You have time traveled. Pretty obvious. Here, you have a mansion, meaning you have replaced some people. Your mission here is to find Ciel Phantomhive and help him. Along the way, he will lose his memory, but will remember one thing. Your second mission is to find a way to bring back those memories. There should be a second note in the bag with the address of your house on it. Don't worry. In your present time, this will only be a second. Good luck. Signed, Anonymous."
"Wait, are you serious? We have to find the Earl Phantomhive? That's great."
"Storm, we go now. First to our.. New... Home. Then we go visit the Phantomhive Household. I assume this would be our carriage."
"Yes, it is, my lady."
"Shall we go?"
"Already speaking formally, sheesh. But alright we shall." With that, the two rode away. To where? It's obvious. When will they go the the Phantomhive household? Right after in... The next chapter.
