Blue ripples. That's the reaction I got when I flung the rock into the pond. My movements were constant. I arched my arm in a way which allowed my arm to be stable and powerful when I threw the rock in the water.

After a time, I became tired of playing with a pile of dirt. Nevertheless, I never stood up. I merely sunk back into a arched position on the ground and gazed up the sky. The clouds floated moralessly around the sky and floated slowly about. The sunlight reflected off of the 50m concrete wall. It stretched over the whole perimeter. It was fascinating to watch a wall being stretched so to cover a whole plain.

After tiredly squirming under the sun, I stood up and dusted off the cloaked dust particles. Each pat and slap on the worn out cloak made the small particles of dust leave the material. I watched it seemingly float away.

A plea of help snapped me to my senses. It came from town. I willed my legs forward to run. They were flexed to will more power to run faster. I entered into town, yet I couldn't see who the wails belonged to.

The town square was horderd by people from every direction. They tried to see what was happening by swarming around the , what seemed to be a female voice.

Was she the one was wailing? I moved closer to the girl who kept on crying out someone's name.

As I neared, I saw a fimilar raven head. She stood in the middle of crowd and stumbled from one corner to the next. She looked hopeless as her bottom lip quivered and her knees gave way to the ground.

"Anakio! Anakio....where a-are you-u..." The ravenette started to stob and glanced at the alluring crowd around her. Me having enough, I pushed passed the people to try move to the front. It was very hard to move due to the squared shoulders and the long figures that blocked every ounce of sight. "Little girl, move out the way!". I ignored the comments and rammed with even more strength.

The little girl that had sunken to the floor, stared at the tall figure infront of her. The blonde moved with caution towards her petite friend. Her eyes were sunken and her cheeks were drenched due to the subsiding tears. The tall girl moved even closer with an emotionless expression. The ravenette sniffled lightly, while brushing away the excess fluids with her forearm. I gazed at the girl with a confused glance. No words left my mouth.

Why is Mizuki sprawled over the concrete? I hope she didn't try to follow me when I flew out of the house...Wait, something hap-

My thoughts were interrupted by the girl that called my lovingly with here arms outstretched as if to await a embrace. "Sister~ Why won't you hug me?!" I sighed in defeat and crouched down to her level. My arms enveloped hers and she hooped ours to make it difficult to break the affection.

She eventually let go as I hung lifeless in her grasp. She smiled brightly as we both stood up. By this time, the crowd around them dispersed. I looked at her in question as I was curious to know why she wailed aimlessly in the middle of town", Why did you cry in town? Were you trying to make a scene?" My words were cold as usual but I tried to hide the concern that strung along with. My arched eyebrows went back to their places when my face replayed an expressionless one. She then sunk her head lower than usual and figded with the hem of her skirt.

"I'm sorry Anakio...I didn't know where you were heading so I followed you to ensure you're safe, yet I know you wouldn't do anything. Mother was so distressed when you ran out, she's scared that the Military Police will identify you. But yet you try to block out all your problems by running away..."
Her words were sincere and spoke of wisdom, yet it struck me deep in the heart. I froze at her last past but stopped in my track.

Mizuki tilted her head to the side as she followed my action. She turned her body to face me "Why the shock? You know I'm only speaking the truth. You always want honesty, now I bare it. " I just shook my head and gave her a bewildered gaze" Onee-san...how do you get it right? How do you know a person by just looking at them?" She chuckled at my question and just merely shook her head. She then presumed to walk.

Mizuki was a mystery on her own. She always held secrets that I was dying to know. We traveled in silence towards the direction of home. A particular group caught my eye, the two boys and girl. They would regularly hang out by the lake and play like any child would. They were also very troublesome, I frowned at the remark, fully aware that I wasn't any better. But, the group had always caused mischief and mayhem wherever they were accumulated. The boy with brown hair would shout at everything. Hell, I even think he would shout at a bypassing bug. The girl with black hair would every time period hit him upside his head, while the blonde boy tried to prevent the two from killing each other. My head snapped around when I heard the soft voice.

" You know, its impolite to stare at people." I merely nodded at Mizuki's words. Upon arriving at home, Mizuki stopped and glanced at me with worry. I raised a brow to question her. She responded by turning her back to me and rushed up the stairs that led to the front door. She opened it slowly while I followed her. The creak of the door alarmed someone. The figure flunged toward the door and Mizuki stiffled a yelp which sent her backward. I opened my arms to catch her. The figure peered behind the door and revealed her face. I glared at the face and put Mizuki to her normal place. Mizuki's mom came into view and she usered us inside. She closed the door to block out any people who would intrude them. The girls gazed at her anticipation, Noelle finally sat on the chair and said, " You two think I'm very suspicious. You have a right to be...yet, there is nothing suspicious. I merely want you to go the store...on a secret mission that no-one else can do besides you two." She winked at us, emphasizing "top secret".

I shook my head but inwardly cringed. Noelle could be so immature, but she meant good. Mizuki being flushed at her mother's actions, she grabbed the yen by her mother and grabbed my arm, being dragged behind her.

Outside, Mizuki walked in silence, probably overthinking again. I chose to break the silence,"So much for a secret mission... didn't your mom just want us to go to the shop?" Mizuki only nodded but her gaze remained forward.

A man tried running out of a store but was strained by other two men by clasping hands on both arms. He thrashed and jumped up and down in their grasp. Finally giving up, he returned the probably stolen items and hung his head in shame. As I stepped closer, I could hear something about "a titan-sinned man". I merely shrugged. People and their meaningless comments...
Mizuki entered into the shop and placed the yen into the man's hands. He only nodded and went to the back of his store to get the needed items.

I suddenly heard a string of voices. In excitement, anticipation and mostly dissatisfaction. The people that drawled around on the outskirts, immediately followed the raging voices. I looked behind me and ushered for Mizuki to come. She questioned me with the wavering if her hands. She then followed me, almost falling over my heels.

The crowd stood around Wall Maria's gate and waited to until we saw soldiers in green capes traveling by horse. Children squealed in excitement. I was about to ask who they were when someone said "The Survey Corps have returned..."
