 A hand caught Tony's wrist.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Pepper growled, holding Tony's wrist.

"Let go of me." Tony growled back.

Neither of them noticed Peter slinking off and running towards the elevator doors.

Peter got into the elevator and pressed the ground level button. Once he reached the bottom he ran into a man.

It was the same man from the hospital room who escorted the woman, May, out of the building.

"Peter?" The man asked.

"Where's May?" Peter asked frantically.

"She's at the apartment. Here let me take you. Do you remember me Peter?" The man asked as he led him towards a black audi.

"No, I don't. I was about to get dinner but then this woman, Pepper, came in and she asked why I was there when usually I'm with May. Her story matched up with May's not Da- Tony's." Peter spoke.

The man nodded, "my name is Happy Hogan, May and Pepper are correct. May is your aunt but Tony is not your father. Your biological parents died when you were 5 years old and you were sent to live with your Aunt May and Uncle Ben. Your Uncle Ben died when you were 14."

Peter nodded, some of that sounding familiar.

They arrived in Queens at a run down apartment complex. Happy took Peter up to an apartment door and knocked.

May opened the door to see her nephew and Happy standing at the door.

"Peter?" She asked hesitantly.

"I believe you." Peter spoke, "I don't remember you, but I believe you."

May smiled and brought Peter into a hug.

"That's okay. Come in." May ushers Happy and Peter into her apartment as she closes the door and locks it.

Peter looks around the apartment, taking in everything. And to him, this feels familiar, not like the penthouse where it was cold and barely homey. This apartment feels homey. Like his home.

Happy steers Peter towards the couch and sits down with him.

"So, how are you Peter?" May asks, sitting opposite of Peter, aware that if she got closer he may start to panic and close up.

"I'm…..confused." Peter responds, unsure of what to say and do.

"What do you need to not be confused?" May asked Peter.

Peter shifted, "this woman….Pepper Potts I believe, came into the penthouse and said that I wasn't dad's biological son. Said that I'm related to you and that I never leave your side. I'm confused because dad told me the exact opposite. And Happy told me the same thing Pepper did including a man named Ben who is my uncle?"

May nods looking down, "Ben was my husband...your uncle. He was always there for you when you needed him. He acted like your father figure after your biological father and mother died in a plane accident. We took you in and raised you since you were five. He worked as a police officer and he would take you for ice cream after you won a decathlon tournament or after your first and last day of school or any of your achievements. He was an amazing man. But then, after a robbery took place, the suspect shot him and he died. You were only 14 and you were there with him when he went. I can remember the way you looked when you came home. You had a haunted look in your eyes and your clothes and hands were covered in blood. You were silently crying and I knew that all you wanted to do was break down and cry but you believed you had to stay strong for me. That you needed to be the strong one while I have my breakdown."

May had tears falling from her eyes. She sniffed and wiped her eyes.

Peter looked down and nodded, "he sounds like a wonderful man."

"He was. He loved more than anything in the world. He would do anything for you."

"I have a feeling I would do the same." Peter smiled.

"You would. You truly would." May smiled.

Happy sat there silently, listening to the story of the man who made Peter who he is.

"Anyway, would you like to see your bedroom? Maybe that would help jog your memory. I mean, only if you want to." May asks, not wanting to force Peter into getting his memory back.

"That would be nice." Peter grins.

May nods and gets up to show Peter to his room.

She opens the door and Peter enters looking around, feeling more at home.

This felt more like his room as it has more personality than the room at the tower and seems more like him.

He's interrupted by loud knocking on the door at the front door.

"MAY!"

May turns and says quietly, "Tony."
